Smile MD emissions passed

just thought i'd make a post about my emissions inspection. i had cory and mike at AMS install a full stock exh. system (i have a dc sports 3" dp w/cat delete integral, jic 3" ti catback) as i had to get a repair order taken care of for excessive noise so i killed two birds with one stone and got my emissions done right after. car passed the obdII test just fine with an o2 fooler installed for the cat delete (even though i had put the full stock system as i immediately went back to AMS and had them put all the good sh*t back on) one note... a mva supervisor came out and walked around my car, he looked at the rear, i guess looking for the tell-tale #10 can exhaust tip. don't know, but maybe they may have looked closer if it hadn't been the stock exhaust. thanks to AMS once again. can't say enough good things about them.

I was hoping that you were going to say your exhaust passed emmisions and you had cams or something. But good news either way.

Yea the guys at AMS do awsome work and the customer service is always top notch

you should really check your cel before you go... i think they also test the light, so you'll need to replace the light before you go. if you don't get all that stuff done, you'll get the repair sheet thing and they will pay alot closer attention to your car when it comes back.
just my 2c

In VA they definitely check the bulb/fuse for the light to make sure it hasn't been disabled... Another thing is don't reset the ECU by pulling the negative right before you go. That will clear everything and it's also "suspicious" to have no data in the ODBII... In other words they want to make sure your not doing something out of the ordinary to get the light off.

No OBD-II port = NO GO. The only way around that is the "way around it"; but bribing a state employee will probably get you in trouble
