Va Beach EVO's
New evo owner...
what is the local shop of choice to get a tune?
I'm still doing research on which steps to do 1st in the upgrade path but a tune is defiantly needed soon since the X's run so rich and it will rid me of the 5800 rpm hesitation.

I am pretty sure you will not find anyone local tuners for a X, your best bet might be to give DTM a call (they are located in NOVA).
any other local tuners besides DTM...
also was wondering we should have a meet besides the one on june 5...
do something like meet at lynnhaven mall and cruise around and talk cars and stuff...was thinking this weekend or something

That would work for me. wouldn't mind getting to know the other local evo owners
Other places- All Aspects in Chesapeake and Millenium in Portsmouth. Both have tuned 8 and 9's.
To newcomer81, I would be careful who you use around here for a X tuner. No one here has much X tuning experience. CBRD, turbotrix, and even xtremeboost are worth the drive.
I heard some cars meet up at freedom car wash on s. independence but I have never been out there. I have seen a few evo owners at the autox events but I need to try to meet up with more.
i've been to the freedom car wash meet...it's about 10 cars or so (i've seen an evo there, a silver one, had carbon fiber hood --- i think it was an VIII...)....there's all kinds of cars there, seen some scions (team scikotik, or however it's spelt)...there were street bikes up there last saturday...it's nothing spectacular, but people meet up there and talk....
