You = Full of ****....If you are a small arms tech then yes it is pretty easy..But the rest of us that work on the 5" cannon and the VLS launchers have a slightly harder job. There is a *** load of hydraulics and computers at play with the big toys, plus all the interfacing with the FC's that we have to fix and troubleshoot. Not on the same playing field and making eggs!!!

I was A MK75 tech also a Crew served weapons instructor that was fun, yeah definately the bigger weapons systems are harder, glad mine had way less electronics than VLS and 5". I want to get back in, Cause the coasties f'ed me, but they said it would take 8-9 months and I would have to change my job.

no I think IT, and IS jobs are easy oh can't forget OS, sit in combat doin nothin but lookin at a screen. I loved my job don't think there is anything I would rather be doin. Yeah but all you do is push papers gary, that isn't fun to me. My last command, I was a leading GM and also a level two coxswain, Play with guns and drive a boat, it was a blast, till I became a patrol leader then I didn't get to drive lol.

So on the other hand, anyone doin that Yahtzee run I saw on VA Driven?

Gary if your being serious about being a YN and having a hard job you just lost like 9/10 of the respect i had.

hahaha.. Man im an AT2. working with Hawkeyes. I dont have the easiest job yet its not the hardest. I guess my jobs more mental the physical. I just dont like the boat life and thats why i changed to air side.

I was a SM then a QM then an AT. i hated GQ's i hate faking going out to sea while still being in port and not being able to get off the boat. And all the other boat crap. So i swapped over and have never looked back.
