Just got back up to VA a couple hours ago. Anyone got any meets planned for this week?

 

turns out i only blew a fuse, but kinda bit off more work than i could chew. that o2 elim downpipe was a pain to get on, so everything was kindof slow going after that. at least im running again.

 

The one in oceana? I'm going there often now since it's way more convenient to walk under the car rather than laying underneath it. I get to see everything! I wish I would've started using the lifts more often. Whatever, I saved some money and wasted a lot of time though.

 

Yeah ive done almost every installation or fluid change at the oceana hobby shop, totally worth it and so much easier.

 

well the wife will be home by Sat. but I think that I am still gonna go up to Bass Pro, got the car washed and cleaned up, and have it sitting in the Garage. so I am ready and the weather doesn't look half bad as of now, think it supposed to rain in Morn but that about it, but that is all subject to change around here.

 

Hey all -

Anyone here mind helping me take a look at an evo? Spotted one at a dealership. Did the test drive... all seemed fine... Reverse gear was a bit difficult to place.... a bit of a rattling noise coming from the rear. Also worried about air leaks in the engine.

I'm stationed here at Dam Neck. Own an STi & Evo 1 back home, but new to the 8 & 9's so not quite sure what to look for.

Any knowledgeable under the hood inspection help would be super helpful!

Hey im not going to be able to make it this weekend up at bass pro. I accidentally bent one of my rims and im either going to find a set of stock ones and tires or get a new rim. But i wont be able to get either until monday or so.

There was only 3/4 evo's there last saturday. I was the only Evo VIII there!

I was hoping to make it. Getting my 8 back friday? But leaving sat for key west for 2 weeks. Working, but spring break time

 

well, I was gonna go Sat. but the wife is comin home from Haiti on Sat. and I don't know what time yet, if it early enough I might still be able to make it, but you know the military nothing is ever on time.
