i will be getting a replacement stock turbo for my car this week to see if its my turbo leaking oil. and need to replace it with the current one ASAP to try and make it to the tune this weekend. the turbo should be in tues/wed at the latest. so if anyone is willing to help me change them out either wed/thurs and at the latest friday. will be able to work on it after 430pm til whenever. doing it either at the NAS Oceana hobby shop, or in a parking lot if you have a torque wrench. if you are willing/able to help out, plz pm or post. would also love it if u had the mechanic's book for our car so we're not going off stupid mechanic work if you know what i mean.

i hope you get everything together. Worst case, perhaps you can bring the car by and we can do a once over with you to see if we can find anything wrong with it. Sounds like you are just having bad luck... especially if you have people telling you that a 2.3 cant be tuned on the stock ecu. Best of luck to you...

And I'm not going back a million pages; so if it's a repost I apologize, but Jenero's always has a few Evo's every Saturday night..................
I spoke with him for a minute, but didn't get too far. He said he isn't on the forums either. I think we should give him a little guidance maybe to swap out the rims and ditch the lights

That would be the dumb info posted around the neck of the woods.

I think i got spoiled in CA having a tuners on call everywhere.. And Open ECU was the only way to go. Wish i would have learned to tune..

we will do whatever we can to help you out...

strokers are a lot of fun. I wish there was more rev room up top for the 1/4 mile.... but having boost immediately is such a nice feeling.

The rims were pretty bad; but I was thinking more guidance toward reving the **** out of it while parked..............over and over again, then turning it off.

like i said, im hoping for it to be in by tuesday, start changing it out wed and get some help on it.

however, u need to hurry ur *** back home. im sure ur lady misses you, and so when i go on deployment you can pick my car up from the beach, and take it up to stm when you go to get your own.

cuz given i dont sell it, deployment mods will likely be:
fp green or fp red
buschur fmic / stm piping
and other small mods to support the two.
powder-coat the wheels black. along with brembos.
likely go with megan racing exhaust manifold.
and finish it off with some dress-up and probly some new gauges inside.

like before, only looking for about 400hp.
anything more is just a fun little bonus.
