I mistakenly bought an OBX DP, that tapered to 2.5". Some like it cause it doesn't hit anything like a 3" would......like mentioned above search around, there is alot of DPs out there and most of them are great. I have the megan full 3" with the flex section....it clears the tranny, cross beams n oil pan.

must be nice to live in an area where you can have any sort of aftermarket exhuast without being constantly harrassed by cops.

To give you an example of the attitude of the dc area, the Le mans series came through for the first time a few years back. People in the wealthier parts of capital hill and other areas complained about the noise. Now there will be no more le mans races in dc.

If u want to get it all done together and u want an exhaust with a burned tip like i do get the Greddy Comp Ti-c , thats what im thinking of getting (comes with the whole intire exhaust system...down test and exhaust pipe)

I have the Tanabe concept g blue, I think it is awesome, but the cops don't think so. with the tanabe downpipe with a high flow cat but the actual exhuast system comes with the test pipe, I had it in for awhile but then had to get the car inspected and had to switch to the high flow, and just never took it out.

I would go with the Greddy. I had a HKS 30th Anniversary on mine and I thought it just perfect on the sound.

I hope I'm not coming in too late on this. The Extreme Turbo System exhaust is the loudest you can buy. You can hear everything the engine is doing from the back of the car. Absolutely Sick! Go to their website and look at their videos. Peace

The Apexi is quiet because it is not a true 3" exhaust. It has neck downs within the resonator and muffler.

Wow, 3yrs old thread bump huh Anyway, I have a greddy TI with a TI testpipe and it's pretty loud. Something about the TI gives it a unique and louder tone than most. The bushur TBE with the small race muffler is the loudest I've heard... hands down.
