Exhaust systems for the evo

Hey guys I need some peoples opinons on TBE's catless. Many people have different personalitys on how loud their exhaust is. Im the type of person that loves loud exhausts. My brother has a megan racing TBE catless and it doesnt seem like it would be loud enough for me but i do like it. I was wondering if you guys could give me advice on which exhaust suits my needs. Also i really like exhaust with a burnt tip. One of my choices i like right now is the Greddy ti exhaust but im scared if i buy it it would be too quiet for me. I was thinking about doing a custom exhaust but i want to see what some aftermarket exhausts out their are like.

I have a Megan TBE with the Megan Manifold. Loud enough for me but it also comes with a silencer incase someone complains. My friend had a Greddy Titanium and it is louder than mine, my other friend has a HKS and his is a lil quiter than the Megan but it gets really loud in WOT. Click sig to hear my exhaust.

I have the Blitz Nur spec. I have people that drive mustangs, camaros etc... say that that can't believe it's a 4 cylinder. The blitz is louder then the Greddy Ti IMO. A friend of mine has it and he says that mine is louder.

Some people tell me that the buscher racing tbe is one of the loudest. The exhaust that i would like right now is probably the rnr racing tbe with hks carbon ti muffler, or the greddy ti exhaust.

Buscher one is definetly loud but I think the loudest is the Greedy TI or the Blitz....Meagan and HKS are loud only on WOT.....anyone heard an Apexi? or an RSR?

BTW I have a Megan Hi-flow cat (cat delete with a resonator) FS $30

I think i made up my mind on what kind of exhaust i want which would be the greddy ti. What kinds of downpipes and cat deletes do you guys recomend for the evo IX mr. I was think about the helix downpipe v2 and helix cat delete, or the rsr downpipe which eliminates the cat. The size differences on those are that the rsr is 4mm larger. Would 4mm actually make a difference on the loudness? Also whats the difference on the cel fix and the o2 simulator? Do both make the not make the engine light come up?

helix cat-delete pipe comes with a mechanical cel-fix which you can get from gruppe-s, but i dont know about the rsr dp. just make sure since the greddy ti is full 80mm (3.149in) w/out tapers or resonator that you get a true 3in cat-delete (such as the helix) and a true 3in dp (again such as the helix), but there are other quality dp out there too just search around. note some dps taper at the flanges to 2.5in (you dont want that).

Thanks a lot so yea i think thats what i will do the helix dp and cat with the greddy ti. Would that mechanical cel fix keep the engine light from coming up?

That's a good set-up and you shouldn't get a CEL, but if you do get a CEL just buy two sparkplug anti-foulers. See thread below for P/N.
