Sad week for me

I traded in my 03 evo this week for an 07 camry. I traded the car for a couple of reasons. I got tired of all the interior noise, brake noise, cheat paint job mits did with the evos, the high maintance cost of the evo, and the problems having the dealer cover the car under warranty. I wasn't feeling like i was in an 30,000 dollar car no more. Dont get me wrong i love the performance level of the evo. and like most of yous i had a fun driving the car. So for me the bad was out weighting the good.

Well it was fun being in the community with you guys. thanks

bye

sorry to hear your car brought more pain than joy. camarys are a nice daily driver, shouldnt have any problems and maitnence prices should stay low.

thats a big step down in performance tho... but camary is a very good car.

i know it was a very big step down in performance but in turn a big step in comfort. i still miss my evo and its been about three days now.

I was looking for something in the evo class but the only one i like was the sti. but the thing with the sti is the front. i think they really mess up on the new front they put on it.

Congratulations! Performance is lost, yes, but I find the new '07 Camry so so damn good looking. It's changed a lot over the years and it looks REALLY REALLY good right now.

that is a big change, did you think about BMW or Audi so you could keep the performance (although still not the same as the evo)?

yea he may miss it but not the cost of maintenance on it i feel you man its an expensive toy and is worth all that money to fix? thats the question to some with money its no problem but to some with low money its a problem... enjoy the camry all you will have for maintenance is oil and brake pads and tires so you wont be complaining then.

Did you get the Camry Hybrid? 40+ MPG and that thing look sweet..I like the headlights and the interior is not bad too. I use to drive a Camry and I never had any problems with it....just change the oil and it'll outlast a Hyandai.

I brought the V6 XLE model with the smart start system. Which I think is pretty good. No need for a key, doors unlock when I'm next to them and push button start. The Camry came with Hid lights but the sad part is that they aren't as bright as the ones on the evo. So I'm going to upgrade those soon. The best thing about the trade was my insurance went down by 200 dollars.

I love my Evo to death, but I don't enjoy it as a daily driver that much. I wish I had something like a camry for a DD, and drive the evo on the weekends. That'd be nice.
