Ok, I don't wanna sound like a d*ck but I don't have a whole lot of space for a ton of people, so aside from a girlfriend or another buddy, don't just invite people.

Well, I would say the meet was a hit, aside from a damper by the rain and uh.....some bad burgers, courtesy of Weis (It was Weis, wasn't it?).

Aside from some "technical difficulties," I'd say that I had a great time. I'm disappointed that we didn't get to hit the roads due to a sudden damper in weather, but maybe next time.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos or video footage of any of the Evos that pulled in as Andy and Avery were on their way out. But, I do have some photos of Matt's, Andy's, Avery's, and my car.

I'll try my best to throw them into a video format. I'll have a video developed shortly.

Anyway, the NEXT time, we'll have to do this during the day so we can get a drive in and get some moving footage!

Thanks for hosting. We'll host next time. Everyone start thinking of when you guys would be free for another meet. Preferably a Saturday night or Sunday.

Great photos, Matt! I love that Camaro sitting in the background!

And how'bout that blue STi? The hawtness!

I guess I won't bother posting any photos, because mine are basically more of the same.

Yeah, sucks that we didn't get all of the Evos in the photos.

Anytime! It was my pleasure! You know me, I'm always up for a meet!

Thanks to you and Ann(e) for the cookies! I'm sure she probably made them! Tell her they are wonderful! I am not joking....those are the best peanut butter cookies I've EVER had! No joke. They're nothing short of dangerous! I have a feeling that I'll be gaining about 3 lbs this week.

Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves this evening. Considering that the meet was "last minute," I'd say it was a good turnout. Since my work schedule changes from week to week I can't really give you a date of when I'd be free for a meet, and normally to get a day off I have to give about 1-2 weeks notice.

Well, again, thanks to everyone for coming! I had a great time!

Hell, I'll post some pics anyway....

Too bad the other guys didn't show up until later. It would've been awesome to have'em all in the photos!

Thanks again for the hospitality and everyone that brought the snacks/drinks/cookies.

Next time we will have to do it on a saturday or sunday night and we will meet earlier (not 7) so we can get some good pictures of all the cars and hopefully get a good drive in.

Was a pleasure! Yeah, kinda tough to get everyone together on a "last minute" type thing.

The next time, maybe I'll wait to eat until after the drive.

Andy, if you bought any of those burgers for yourself, be sure they aren't bad.....unless you already found out the hard way, too!

I'm sort of disappointed I didn't get any film of the "later cars." Also, next time maybe (I'm sorry, I forget his name ) the guy with the bad tires will have his car also. The more cars, the merrier!

BTW, nice on the WOT blasts out of the neighborhood! I'm sure the neighbors loved it (Hell, I did!)! I could hear those turbos howling all the way up the road!

Kevin, my wife was just like, "Damn, that car is f*cking LOUD!" After you opened it up, she was just like, "My god!" My reply...."500 hp of screaming turbo fury!" She just looked at me and said, "Don't even think about getting a new turbo!"

But on a good note, I'm one step closer to talking her into an Evo!

yea its pretty rediculous....

The trick to the wife issue is simple...

from the mind of david buschu "Go forth and modify, just buy something for the wife too!"

I have used this many times and it works perfectly!

That car is just sick. The fastest car my wife has ever been in is my Camaro (which is currently out of commission), and then probably the STi. Shes' never been in a truly fast car. The next time we meet up you'll have to bring us for a ride! I'll have to get the look on her face on video! You may also want to keep a barf bag in the glovebox for her. Until she rides in a truly fast car, she'll just never get it.....

I'm going to try to casually swing by the local Mitsu dealership in Delaware (they have a few Evos on the lot) and pick up a brochure (I collect sales brochures). I'll use it as an excuse to sit in one and then get her to rummage around in one also.....I'm pretty sure the first thing she'll say is, "Well, the seats are comfortable, and it's roomy!"

We can meet at my house on a Sunday. We just need to pick a time good for most all. I will check my schedule. We have a big clearance sale coming up in the begining of October. Definitely need to get everyones pictures. It was too dark when I got there.
