I don't mind either way.

I don't want to come across as being rude, but since I'm leaving early Saturday morning for Aberdeen, I'd have to boot everybody out by about midnight so I can get at least 5 hours of sleep before I head out on a 1.5 hour drive. I can't be falling asleep behind the wheel.

I have Friday off so I'm open to any time. My wife works from home on Fridays until around 5 and always has some sort of conference call or something going on, so she has to have some quiet, but I think it's safe to go out on a limb and guess that we'd probably be outside BSing around the rides until near-dark anyway.

Whatever you guys decide on is fine. Just let me know. I won't be posting back until around 11-12 tonight so hopefully you guys come to a decision before then. That way I'll have time to run to the store tomorrow and get some stuff.

 

who needs 5hrs of sleep. i was up for 22hrs, then i drove to KY over the weekend. an 8hr drive. i was up for like 30 hrs straight. hahaha. so you can do an 1.5 hrs. just messin man, let us know what time and place. and maybe how to get there....we shall be there

 

yeah dan i remember how to get there...its impressive to see a list of 10 with 8 of them evo's right here in frederick.

I'll shoot over around 6 Dan and stay til dark or something, pm me if you want me to grab some stuff from the store to cookout or something.

I do not get off work until 8:00 or so in Gaithersburg. The earliest I could be there is around 9:00 as long as the wifey is cool with it.

Sounds good, Andy. Thanks for volunteering! I got like 8 hot dogs and rolls. I dunno how many people are going to be showing up, so I kinda need a head count.

I'll have to see if I have burgers. I know I don't have rolls though.

So far here's what I have in the house....well, that will work for Friday, if that's what's decided on......

1. 8 hot dogs and rolls

2. microwave popcorn

3. 8 cans of Fanta Grape soda

4. approximately 20 Arizona Iced Tea bottles

I'll take care of sodas, but I need to know what people are eating and drinking. If anyone wants to bring some snacks, post up so I'll know if I need to get some.

Andy, I guess right now all I can think of are maybe some beef patties and some rolls. I have ketchup, mustard, and cheese (cheddar and american slices) for the burgers.

Damn, trying to plan something on short notice is tough! But, I'm sure it'll be worth it. Nothin' like hangin' out and BSing about cars!

 

I have a ****load of hotdogs, and coke I can bring. I can pick up some chips and whatever else also.

 

Ok, this is getting confusing now. Maybe it would be easier to post the one thing that we plan on bringing. If there's anything left out, then we'll divide it up.

Dan- chicken breasts (I have Italian and Ranch dressing, honey mustard, and bbq sauce for it)

Just a suggestion, but I think we should just leave alcohol at home, especially if we're going to be taking a cruise or something......

That's a good question! Anytime after 4pm is cool with me. My wife works from home on Fridays until 5 and she's always in conference calls so I guess we'll probably just be hangin' outside until then, and shooting the sh*t about cars.

well, i'll probably be the first one there as i get off of work around 3:15. I was going to bring my gf but she has softball practice so i'll probably get to Dan's around 5 ish and then leave when she gets done so we can have some of friday night left for movies or whatever. I'll pick up burgers, and some rolls and heck since you live next to a car wash dan...i think i'll at least hose my ride off a little.

 

I have a sony828 to we will have several high quality cameras there for some nice shots...

 

Sounds cool, Andy. Hopefully the weather will be nice, because rain always puts a damper on things- no pun intended. Nothing sucks more than taking a drive in the rain. Rainy drives never make for much fun.

Thanks for volunteering to pick up burgers and rolls. I'll have to wash the STi also. If it is nice on Friday, I'm sure it'll be plenty dirty from the rain today. I heard it's supposed to rain tomorrow also. Hopefully it'll be out of Mother Nature's system by Friday.
