New NOVA Evo here....
Hey everyone,
Long time EvoM member, but new to this area. I just moved in this past weekend. I'm living in Arlington, and work in DC.
But anyways, just saying Hi, and yes I'm aware of DCEvoClub, just haven't joined yet.
So are there other decent shops around here? I have purchased parts from AMSTuning before and I'm thinking of getting my 60k mile basic maintence work done there as well, as many members seem to trust the shop...
well just saying Hi, in fact my first day here a yellow Evo waved at me, so I know this is quite the Evo town.

^^ man I totally got lost driving on 495 and 395....the signs are F*ed! up and confusing!
Also, in the area I live in, it takes me longer to drive to my grocery store than walking to it, b/c of all these streets with center medians and diagonal intersections.

oh...I'm also looking for some great driving roads around here, since I don't use my car everyday anymore, I'm aching to drive it.
I use to live in SE Ohio for a peroid, and that was some good mountain roads...

Welcome to D.C. home of the 5 mile and hour speed limit between the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
I would recommend AMS, they have always been extremely fair to me with re: to pricing and labor and more importantly, they stand behind their work. Give them a shout. As for roads, go west.

AMS is definately a good shop... I was up there for the first time the other day... they do some top-notch work there. If I was staying around the area I would def go to them for all my Evo needs.
For good roads to drive, head out west to the Shenandoah Mountains... check out Skyline Drive. There's not much in this immediate area, due to all the traffic. There's also a few good roads out in Great Falls.
