I'm planning on getting a new alarm and was wondering if anyone on here could install it for me? Best Buy and Circuit city won't install on a manual trans car because its got a remote start.

 

I'll do it for you. I have been an installer for 18 years, was MECP certified, and i had an IASCA winning car.
You do know that you'll need to get another EXSPENSIVE key made to place in your auto start system to
bypass the Transponder in the key don't you? For that reason alone I did not
install the auto-start feature in my car. Thieves will see your car is running, wait
for the right moment and break-in to find the key and take the car !!!!
Crimestopper did have a unit that used resistors, but I think it's discontinued...

But I'll do it if you want !!! PM me...

i would break the key part off beore u put it in the bypass

 

Good idea !!! But that's an exspensive solution for the ability to have your car start.
The dealer charges $250 for the key. You can get the Auto-start alarm/pager for $149. I'll charge $150 to put it in... That's about $600.. 1/2 for the key alone !!! But if he wants it...

Better yet, I do want that 3M Clear shield on my car....hmmmm

 

Wow, I didn't know it was such a PITA to get remote starting... I want something to protect my car, but I may just get Revelco... could you install a 791xv for me with a 3M install trade?

 

That sounds like a deal to me....
