Nopi woe's Update 9/26!!

So I got on the road last night to start my drive to Atlanta. I didnt get to far on 95s around Capitol Hights, I found the retread of an 18 wheeler. I couldnt get arond it, so I smacked it at about 80 mph. As you can imagine my car didnt like that too well. So I have a busted oil pump/pan, busted front bumper, and busted passanger front fender.

Had to spend about 3 hours on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck, and so forth...what a pain in my a$$!.

Called the insurance and they say that its considered an "at fault" accident so chances are my insureance rates are goin to go up now.

any how, guess that what you get...

I always did want new fenders and a bumper.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I wish that retreads were illegial, evidenitly not though.

I dont know if it will be ready in time. Once I get ahold of the adjuster then we have to go look a the car, since there are quite a few things that he needs to see. Then I need to get the mechnical work done at ISP then the body work done at my body shop.

So it will def be several weeks before I have the car back.

Man sorry to hear that I had a similar thing happen to me last year but it hit my grill with a piece of re-tread and dented my hood. No where near as bad as you but I know how you feel. I dont se how they can blame this on you since it came off a truck in front of you. I think it should be a No fault claim. Best of luck!
