I'll reiterate what I said before....AD ain't going anywhere. He may cost us alot, but "the juice is worth the squeeze". BJ is a great KO/Punt returner and we NEED him. Musa Smith has a lot of potential, but always is injured (not his fault though). Alan and Ovie are good FB's, but aren't going to hurt the cap. Clarence Moore is a joke. (See Denver game). Jarret Johnson is a pretty good LB. He would prolly start on some teams. The others 'to me' are average to good players and may or may not be on the team next year. They shouldn't hurt the cap either.

Ozzie Newsome gets paid ALOT of money to make tough decisions...his are some of the best in the league. I could be wrong about AD and if they let him go, so be it. If they did, then they feel that the team can get by without him. I however, don't see that happening. Any of the other guys could be gone next year as well, and if Ozzie makes that decision, then I'll respect it because of his proven track record!

i understand your point of saying ad will say, all i was saying in that post is that short of a miracle 2 year deal the ravens DO NOT have the money AT ALL. 08 is scheduled to be a cap hell year for you guys again, thats when all the major contracts and money become an issue. AD agent in no way will take a 2 year deal when he could get a 7 year, 50+ deal somewhere. if by some chance the ravens do cut some people before next season who count some big numbers then the only way they can keep him is to resign him. they just dont have the cap room to franchise him, so they need to resign him. and without the franchise tag other teams can submit offers to his agent, all in all, lets just say the coming years and offseasons are going to be... interesting to say the least.

I'm certainly a Raven's fan also. My dad was stationed at Andrews for 8 years 88-96 so i grew up watching Orioles and when the Raven's came to town they became my football team also.

I knew they would pound the **** out of the Steelers. Now they have a playoff berth all they gotta do is make their way past Indy or San Diego.

guess the haters left... wait, im still here... 13-3 with the 2nd easiest schedule in the league, you guys should be proud, you beat so many hard teams... bucs = loosing record, buffalo = loosing record, oakland = loosing record, clevland = loosing record twice, cincinatti = loosing record, atlanta = loosing record, pittsburgh = loosing record twice, so lets add... 9 wins against teams with loosing records, 3 wins against teams with winning records, and 1 team that finished 500.

let me also add, that according to nfl.com samarii rolle is the worst ranked starting corner in the nfl.. odd in the 3 loses teams threw and won against the defense. and if the ravens have to face san diego in SD i dont think marty is going to play marty ball.

funny how hypocritical baltimoron fans are. you guys ***** about indy stealing the colts and how baltimore got screwed, so then baltimore goes and steals the browns and fans love it? you cant have both.

heres hoping you guys face indy in the playoffs, dont think payton will choke till the afc championship game

and just because im sure someone will ask, im not a fan of indy either, lol

Wow, somebody had **** in their cherios for breakfast. Go ahead and hate...you didn't state your favorite team so my guess is they didn't make it to the playoffs. Don't get all butt-hurt about it. We didn't make the schedule this year and neither did Baltimore. So remove the knot from your panties and sit back comfortably. Somebody always has a gripe about a winning team.

And you probly think that Seattle got screwed in the superbowl too. Pansie...

you dont know who my team is or isnt, and no, the seahawks got hosed in the super bowl by bad calls. i was merely pointing out the irony of all you happy internet fans when the ravens did absolutly nothing this year and finished with a good record. hell give them a hard schedule and i doubt thatd even win 10 games. fact of the matter is, the ravens secondary besides mcallister and reed are rated in the bottom half of the league, the offense cant score points in the redzone to save thier lives (what a suprise, the ravens have never had an offense because no one wants to play for a **** hole city). now you may say, "but azz we didnt score any tds in 2000 and won." and you may be right. but this year if happen to face the patriots and not the colts, the rats will be going against the 6th and 10 ranked defenses, and 4th and 11th ranked offenses.

moral of story, defense will only slow down the other teams in the playoffs, but if you cant score with your 17 ranked total offense then you better pray its a 3-0 game... which it wont be.
