Attn. Anyone in MD with JDM rear bumper

I plan on gettng a JDM rear bumper from speed element when I get my Income tax check and I have a couple of questions

1. Who installed you're bumper?
2. Any problems you had or have with the bumper?
3. Did you cut or alter the crash beam?

1. A shop in Elkridge, MD hooked me up. Straightline Autobody. Good quality work with the crash beam. He's a member here, MRevo2k6. PM him.
2. One problem with the bumper...it looks so damn good
3. They altered the crash bar, but did not affect its integrity. Just enough to fit it.

Hope that helps.

Kreionic sent me PM and told me about this shop, and when I get the bumper I'm going to get them to install it. How much did they charge you for the install?

Are you getting it prepainted? If so, AMS installed mine. Tommy (4G63T) has it on his car now. I got it from Gruppe-S prepainted. As for install cost, most of it is getting your exhaust to fit correctly without a chance of melting your bumper etc. Tommy also bought my "prefit" exhaust with the bumper. Here is an old picture, maybe Tommy has more.

If you need a hand I can help... I did mine and it didn't take long at all. Let me know, I live in Bel Air though if thats not to far away from you. Dear god don't pay anyone to install it because its a piece of cake.

Joe

Yes sir. Now stay on topic.

Ryan, when are you going to get your new bumper. There is a shop in Fallston that does great work. This is the shop that repaired my car after I had an accident two years ago. Look up Unique Auto Body. There number is (410) 877-8797

I think I've seen this one somewhere in Owings Mills MD. Nice ride, sounded nice too. Upgraded exhaust? if so, what kind? I'm still trying to decide whether I want to go with the Tanabe Touring or Concept G Blue.

Does altering the crash bar affect my insurance policy?
