They use a Dynomite Dynometer, which reads very similar to a Dynojet, except it has a lot of cool features like:

Dyno Specs:
Dual eddy current absorber, load bearing All Wheel Drive capability, Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive. Drag strip simulation, road load simulation, horsepower testing, real time torque display, over 1,000 horsepower and much more.

I have never installed/tuned those cams, but that is not a big deal. I am sure I can get them worked out for you just like the ones that I am used to seeing.

I tune those injectors out for you as well with no issues. Are you asking me if you need them or if I can tune them?

OK well now it looks like I am going to be able to pull this off after all. It looks like there are still pleanty of slots left so I can breath a sigh of relief there. Now hopefully I get my mani back soon so I can place my deposit.

I was actually trying to get a set of cams prior to our tune date and was wondering if you had anything good or bad to say about Helix cams. i don't have them yet. We will see if i can afford them prior to your visit.

I am very surprised there isnt more interest in this. I guess that is good for me as it looks like getting a time slot wont be a problem but just very surprised.

Exhaust mani is at Buschur and the second is comes back or I get a call/email from Buschur I will send my deposit.

Can't wait!!

I am not familiar with extremes tuning, and honestly, I havent even heard about them and their work with the evo. I would say that overall, the ams tune will be better and will probably increase power and safety. But like I said, it all depends on how it was tuned originally.

One thing is for sure, ams has a lot more experience with the flash on the evo than extreme does...

That being said, I would get it retuned

I'm interested in a base flash. The bash flash has a good margin of safety built into it, right? I want to make sure I have a flash that won't destroy my car if I take it to a couple of track days.

Like stated before, I've never heard of "extremes" but that doesn't mean much. AMS specializes in DSM/EVo's and are one of the premeir tuning specialist. Did "extreme" dyno tune your car or just a base flash? What are your mods?

I can't tell you for sure without seeing what has been done and doing a couple logs on the car myself. If you have changed anything on the car, we could re-tune it for you, to get the maximum from it.

The base flash does have the safety that you are looking for. It is intentionally left on the conservative side so that you will have no problems. You can run all the track days you want without the flash being a problem.
