Looks like STU is SOOOOOOO HUGE that they are moving us
to a different run group permanently. This event we'll need to be there first
thing in the morning for those of you who are attending. Run 1st, work 2nd...
Class has 25 competitors, the largest class in the WDCR Region and soon to
be THE largest class, period.

I'm not 100% satisfied but I guess for the first time out on coilovers 2rd place in class and 15th in PAX isn't TOO bad. My last run was faster even though I nearly locked up approaching one of the slalom cones near the finish.

 

Failure! I'm sure it won't be long so I have to give you guys crap while I still can.

Lot's of Evo from PA and it was certainly run to watch! Mike still got the best of all the Evo's though. Davemac, Corey and Adam need to come to Fedex more often and make the STU more exciting, and maybe we can make Mike an Evo guy.

Just wondering, a saw a lot of you guys are running a camera. My camcorder just shuts off as soon as the car is moving fast. What brand and model of camera are you using? Hope you get your suspension dial in soon. Take care. Danny

 

Once you guys start whooping on me, Danny has generously offered me a co-drive in his car I may try to get some seat time in it at the next AI event if he is there.

Dont' do that Dave. As slow as l am there is almost no ***** left.

Mike drove my car during the autox school about two months ago. After about 3 - 4 runs he got back to his BMW and drove 2 - 3 runs. His BMW actually turned in a lower time at the end. I think Mike still feels the EVO the car to have in the STU though.

I figure since I can't drive, I can only give "racing team owner" a shot!

We're running a Sony digital camcorder with a cone-cam remote camera. I'll have on-car video to post up some time this week.

Danny, if you would, PM me your ride height settings. I'm going to do some more testing and I'd like to try some variations.
