Ok so here's the deal.... rivalaC and I were thinking... we have nothing going on in our area meet wise. Not weekly, bi-weekly, monthly... you know what I mean. i think there are plenty of us around where we could have a nice get together every once in awhile to just talk and be around other people with the same interest. We just wanted to see who else would be down for a get together once in awhile.... We think the Annapolis area is good since it's a nice place to meet and there are plenty of places to either eat or whatever we wanted to do. Please post up your ideas, questions, thoughts, concerns or whatever.... let's get something going here!!

 

right on, i am down. i am gonna head over to AEX/Winners tomorrow if anyone wants to hang out for a bit. i havent been to AEX so wanted to check it out. other then that i am free tonite, g/f comes up tomorrow nite so will be busy and wednesday my wisdom teeth are coming out... with job searching i am kinda busy for a few weeks starting next week but i should be around

 

I think we should have a weekly Kimono party with lots of Sake and sushi!!!



Oh and does anyone want to start off this regular meet perhaps by going to watch the Transformers in kimonos? I really do want to see that movie!

alright, so gennie and i have talked this into the ground today.

this is what we've come up with so far.

time: weds at 7pm
location: annapolis mall, top level of parking garage[dunno what else to call it] by the movies

i only forsee a couple of problems with this but not everything is perfect. seems like the most opportune place tho because there's food, movies and well, can't forget the bathrooms LOL. and since its during weekdays, could there really be that many people there? only experience will tell :P

but if anyone else has any ideas or changes, lemme know - if everyone is okay with it, start it next weds, the 27th?

 

I'd say change it to a Friday night and you'll have more attendance.

 

^1 if it's going to be on Wednesdays, it's going to have to start a bit late. I tend to hit the gym after work and I wouldn't really be out of there till about 8ish. Plus the whole waking up early for work Thursday and what not. Fridays or Saturdays would be much better.

Of course though, keep this a democracy.

 

This sucks! Im from nothern virginia but I use to live in arnold, md for a while. I would have been up there in a heartbeat.

 

i agree on the weekend ideas more than the weekday ones but then again, i'd do anything on any night - but if we do weekend meets, we'd certainly have to find somewhere else to do it just because well.. it's a mall LOL

but yea, more input!

 

I'm down for anything. A suggestion I'd like to toss in would be to move the location occasionally. Just so it's not the same thing every week.

 

yea, i'm going to talk to the aex guys this weekend and see if its cool if we hang out there a few times too.
