Maybe if we cheated like New England we would be in better shape?
haha!!
No in all seriousness that the loss to the Broncos really pissed me off. The loss to the Cardinals was pretty bad too but at least Larry Fitzgerald is on that team and he went to Pitt (as did I) so I can kind of let that slide.
It will be interesting to see how the playoffs go. After we kill the Browns next week we are locked into 1st in the division for sure so we can just sit back and wait. Although I can live off the high of SB XL a few more seasons worse comes to worse.

yes we did lose to arizona and denver, but you dont have to be undefeated to be an elite team in the nfl. yeah it helps but its not everything. our defense is solid and has been for years and thats one of the things the steelers go for, a solid defense. our secondary is really good and our linebackers are amazing so we'll just have to see if they can over come blitzburgh.

Actually, CBS added the "crowd noise" and there was a problem in the trailer when they did it.......the Colts themselves didn't cheat!
I'm by no means defending the Colts either....

Stealers wont make it past the first round.
how do you figure they are in the worst division? i say with the exception of the patriots the east is the worst division. Miami, Jets and Buffalo. the dolphins are winless and the jets only have 1 win, so how are the steelers in the worst division?
Are you kidding?! What about the Jets/Dolphins/Bills. COMBINED they have 5 wins. FIVE!!! The Browns alone have 5. Yes, the patriots are good, very good, and could very well go undefeated. But really, they only have a handful of tough games. Indy, Dallas, Steelers (yes), and the Giants (who by that time may be fighting to get into the playoffs). All their divisional games don't mean squat, and that does a LOT to boost their record. They don't have enough games against good teams to really scare me. The Pats won't go far this winter. Too many teams are gunning for them. Look at the past superbowls. How many #1 seeds have won/ let alone reached the playoffs? 04-Steelers #1-lost in AFC Champ. (same goes for 2001). 2000 Raiders?- upset by the ravens. 05 Colts?-we all know that one. As for the NFC...whoever makes it will be beaten by whatever AFC team gets in.
I'm trying to think of an NFC team that could win the Super Bowl this year, but it's just not happening.
Cowboys, meh. Packers, meh. Lions, meh. Giants, big meh. Anyone else left?
Talentwise, the Eagles theoretically are good enough and one of the best teams in the NFC in my opinion, BUT they're playing (and coaching) ability is so unpredicatable that they can't possibly have 3 consecutive games where they don't completely suck a big one.

in the NFC....the rams could win out, after losing their first 8 and make the playoffs. i'm not saying they will, but it could only happen in the NFC. and if your team is like right on the brink in the AFC, how bad do you wish they were in the NFC? you know all the ravens and texans fans would love to clean up in the NFC.
