Football Talkin Thread...
Its going to be tough waiting all the way until Monday night for the Skins to play. Talk about being hungover at work on Tuesday............quite the dagger.
The game besides my own that I am looking forward to, is the Patriots and Chargers. Possible AFC championship game in September. Good times.

I'm not too sure now.... they can't watch for defensive hand signals and know how to run the offence
Belichick got hit with a $500,000 fine, and the team with a $250,000 fine. And if they make it to the playoffs, next year they loose first round draft pick and if they don't make it 2nd and 3rd round picks. I curious to see how they addapt with no heads up.

Honestly, Billick needs to get a clue......throwing the ball when trying to run the clock out is not the way to go. I know they(Jets) would have used a timeout(s), but they wouldn't have marched down the field if they didn't have any time outs.....
I really can't stand the Pats, but is anyone going to beat them? I mean really, who is going to beat them? I'm about 99% positive they won't win 16 games, but they play the Cowboys, Colts and Ravens on the road and play the Steelers at Foxboro (those are arguably the best of their remaining schedule).......heres a link to their schedule and you tell me....

so, since the ravens front office is brillant, ive done some calculating... money spent on willis in the offseason = 40 some odd million for a season average so far of 3.8 yards a carry, 174 yards to date on 45 carries...
jamal on the other hand was signed for a couple mill (like 2-3, i cant remember, and 2 lazy to look it up) and is averaging 6.4 yards a carry, with season totals of 250 yards on 39 carries...
so lets look @ this, u have a one year younger RB with the same amount of knee injuries as the one kicked out of baltimore, rushing for less yards with a better offensive line, a better offense in general...... makes it even worse is lewis piled up those numbers against the bengals who held the ravens offense in check all night... mmmmmm makes u wonder doesnt it? save money and resign some more important players then blowing your cash on another washed up RB with knee injuries.... @ this rate they would have been better off drafting a rookie and starting him.... lmao

Vince Young also looked pretty good when he got the penalty for pushing the other player out of bounds after the play was over. Good team leadership getting a stupid penelty. shows his immaturity.
From yahoo sports:
"Young, who looked so poised in becoming the first rookie quarterback to lead two comebacks of 14 points or more in 2006, finally showed his youth. He stopped a drive just before halftime when flagged for taunting after running out of bounds, and Manning drove the Colts to a field goal after getting the ball back. The Titans had 98 seconds left and needed a field goal to win and improve to 2-0 for the first time since 1999. Young was sacked on the first play. He overthrew Brandon Jones on third down, then the Colts collapsed around Young on fourth down and he fumbled."
There is why you lost right there... lmao
Chalk one up for me
