Vince Young also looked pretty good when he got the penalty for pushing the other player out of bounds after the play was over. Good team leadership getting a stupid penelty. shows his immaturity.

From yahoo sports:

"Young, who looked so poised in becoming the first rookie quarterback to lead two comebacks of 14 points or more in 2006, finally showed his youth. He stopped a drive just before halftime when flagged for taunting after running out of bounds, and Manning drove the Colts to a field goal after getting the ball back. The Titans had 98 seconds left and needed a field goal to win and improve to 2-0 for the first time since 1999. Young was sacked on the first play. He overthrew Brandon Jones on third down, then the Colts collapsed around Young on fourth down and he fumbled."

There is why you lost right there... lmao

Chalk one up for me

hahaha Vince Young is trash

vince young qb rating week 2: 95.3 ....thats qb rating, not rushing rating
payton manning qb rating for week 2 : 86.6 ....
steve mcnair rating for week 1: 63.7 .....

o, im sorry, u said who cant pass? whos not accurate? how about until mcnair outplays vince, which he hasnt, u stfu about which qb is better. u can say he cant do this and he cant do that, but you have no stats from this season to back your **** up...

and this is based on starting QBs... not 2nd stringers who take over for injury.

jamal on the other hand was signed for a couple mill (like 2-3, i cant remember, and 2 lazy to look it up) and is averaging 6.4 yards a carry, with season totals of 250 yards on 39 carries...

so lets look @ this, u have a one year younger RB with the same amount of knee injuries as the one kicked out of baltimore, rushing for less yards with a better offensive line, a better offense in general...... makes it even worse is lewis piled up those numbers against the bengals who held the ravens offense in check all night... mmmmmm makes u wonder doesnt it? save money and resign some more important players then blowing your cash on another washed up RB with knee injuries.... @ this rate they would have been better off drafting a rookie and starting him.... lmao
Have you heard of Brian Billick?........He (and broke down McNair) held the team in-check all night.....I'm not saying McGahee was the answer either, but Jamal was done here.....you'll see as the season wears on and Billick realizes he has McGahee that he will have better numbers over Jamal......honestly, Billick is trying to run him right down the middle, instead of outside where he is more effective!!

Here's McGahee's numbers:Here

Here's Jamal's:Here

Stats are meaningless week-to-week. So based on your logic, I'd rather have Derek Anderson (101.9 rating/season) over Vince Young (76.3/season)? Come on, be realistic and stop being such a homer! Hell, Boller has better numbers than Vince!!

Anderson's stats: HERE

Young's stats: HERE

Boller's stats: HERE

yea i like your last comment... you decided to leave boller out because he has better numbers then vince. mcnair sucks and boller will stay as QB... i hope. vince young is doo doo and your the only one that thinks otherwise

DAMN 4G63 (and also silver06)... i thought u could actually read.... i said this was based on starting qbs, not 2nd stringers who took over...

anderson took over for fry last week, he wasnt the starter to open the season.
boller took over for mcnair, he wasnt the starter to open the season.

pay attention next time.

and i was mearly pointing out that vince can throw and be an effective passer when he needs to be, nothing homerish about it at all.

I LEFT boller out for a reason, he wasnt the starter to start the season. mcnair is your qb next week, one week wonders dont count.

stop getting on a bandwagon btw, one week u like boller the next u dont, show some team loyalty... its rare in people now-a-days....

seem to remember every single raven fan having a god damn celebration when mcnair got here... my how the tables have turned.... i told u he wont win u a superbowl... wont even get close...

and for the record... heres hoping the patriots get #4 this year... and kick the living **** out of the ravens and embaress them on national tv...AGAIN

Who gives a **** about whether or not they started the season....any team is going to go with the best QB to WIN THE GAME. Do I hate VY, no...I actually wish the Ravens had him because I think he's pretty good.

You can make any "rule" to justify your point...I'm merely saying that there is more to the game than just QB rating.....V Young to ME is a better QB than Derek Anderson and Kyle Boller, it just shows that you can't base your argument on numbers alone, agree?

Whats with hate against the Ravens? jeezus christ, take a ****!n' pill.....I'm not a band wagoner, I don't think EITHER will take the Ravens to the big dance....I never had a celebration when he got here. I figured we would have a better chance vs Boller.

Weren't you a big McNair fan....what the **** happened to that!?!

6 turnovers on offense and only losing by a touchdown isn't totally embarrassing, at least not defensively!
