anyone headed out to this event? i am thinking about driving down from NYC.

it's an 8 1/2 hour drive from me in Staten Island, NY. i think we might have a few guys in my car and 2 more in a 350z.

Sign up for the Lap battle for tarzan to possibly drive your car. I did it last year and it was a blast.

If you have not found a hotel to stay at already... then your SOL. The whole area is fully booked. Check the GT Live site for local hotels and restraunts. Good luck.

 

yeah seems that way indeed I've been trying to get something decent with no luck. I may still truck it out there for at least Sat. Other than Tarzan, the only other people I can think of right off the top of my head that I'd go so far out of my way to meet is Keiichi Tsuchiya, Dr. Evo, and Katsuhiro Ueo. As for letting Tarzan run my Evo, not going to be able to do that It's a 5-6 hour drive and there is no way I'm going to put that trip on my Evo when I have a very capable Accord that can go long distances on little gas with room for 4.5.... Hopefully I can figure something out ... quick!

 

He prolly wouldn't drive your car with the current tires on it anyway.

Tarzan Yamada would prolly take one look at your worn out tires and walk away.

 

i will be there already have a hotel booked...... dont forget to sign up on their site and register with evom there as a group meet so you can park in the paddock....
