They do sell beer at MIR though......However, still rather watch the ravens (or any football for that matter) any day over import drag racing. Sorry, drag racing just isn't that exiting unless someone is doing sub 5sec 1/8 mile hits.
Why would we bother running? You do realize that the competition at this event is TOP NOTCH. If you dont make perfect passes, with a perfectly setup car...you may as well not even bother. My car is slow? Have you had a chance to look out your front door lately? Putting money into a car to make it fast doesnt mean you have to run it on the track. I guess you havnt seen the weather saying 65 and sunny...you complain WAY tooo much.

On monday get on MIRdragway.com and check out the outlaw class then. The average car runs sub 8s @ over 180mph. Shepard was there 2 years ago, 7.70@192 mph, and lost!. there is your sub 5 sec 1/8 mile.

Yup, thats where it all gets crazy. From prostreet on is when the event gets fun to watch. Big turbo imports running down bottle fed mustangs/camaros!

how many people are going??? i am debating weather i should go.. I am not interested in drag racing much but if there are a few evos driving down i may come ... please post who will be coming.
