Whats up fellas...hows the evo's? lol seems like shawns car is pretty good. well as good as an X can get. lol

Went to the track friday and saw a GG IX there he was traping like 129 130....couldnt get it to hook so his best time i saw was 11.20ish. reminded me of bryans car. lol i ran the jeep and broke into the 12's 12.97@104 still stock.

shawn said he was running 100% meth but 33psi!!!!!!! lol idc how safe my tuner is i wouldnt be DD that ish around on that stock bottom end. 30 would probally be pushing it but if your gonna stay like that rod bolts/ head studs as ppl told you are a MUSTT!! Id like to see that car in action now.

Im going to check into the headstuds. I havent really been pushing the car too hard cuz its been nasty outside. Ive been asking around to different tuners and shops (vivid racing, turbotrix, ams,) all that have used the Fp red and they are all saying the X is safe at 32-33 psi with the red and meth. Im set for 32.5psi still with the stock boost control solenoid, which they said makes a big difference in safety compared to a MBC, seein as though it corrects itself. But Ill still check on headstuds.

Well if your running off the stock boost solenoid, id venture to say your losing alot of spool time. Ive always heard/been under the impression that a boost controller has proven quicker spool and holds boost better. Who knows on the X though

Kennis, it was probably that guy from Wilmington with the GG IX and Fpred.

Ive got a ballin idea for my interior/exterior for the spring time. Im not gonna disclose it, cause dave will probably just hate anyways.

Kennis you find out if your car ever got sold?

Stock Solenoid for the X I hear works a lot better than MBC. Even a 3 port is better than some MBC for the IX's.

I think the headstuds can take the abuse. It depends on how you rev. your car. If you look at Ryan Gates Time Attack Evo X his on a completely stock long block last time I checked with an FP Red making more power than Shawns car. If that car can/has taken the abuse I think Shawn is fine for now. Plus if your going to get headstuds you might as well do cams too.

^^Interesting. Alright. I need to do something about my BC i think, its just a manual crapper. I have a Greddy Profec II laying around, i might use that. Or ill get a tru boost and redo my guage setup.

Anyone want to buy my SSR's? I want a different set of wheels.

Your Hallman just fine. My turboXS was junk, switched to a Hallman and I had no issues but my boost guage was off by like 7psi (POS autometer). So instead of dishing out the money for Defi's I got the AEM tru boost.

Those SSR's are nice but they wouldn't look good on GG.... I need wheels too.

I agree, Turbo XS mbc was straight **** on the X. I had that when I was at CBRD, almost a year ago. They hated it. It made the X run like **** at the time. So I went back to stock and kept it there. Tuners have said, smart.
