My T-Case is going up. I'm thinking of just doing an Shep T-case, Exedy Twin Rebuild kit, and getting my trans. rebuilt again but instead of Shep I'm going with a Bushwacker and Evo 8 4th gear.

What do you guys think about a 4.11 final drive? You think it's worth it?

 

Who is down for a photo shoot after X-Mas. My Canon Rebel XSi just came in but since it's my X-Mas gift I can't use it till then

 

Ill bring the animal cracker out for a shoot. Lets wait for snow and do a snow shoot! lol.

Tcase is going up now too? Thats crazy, im at 83k on stock trans and t-case and the trans is just starting to get finiky when its cold...warm its still fresh!

yeah i hate the cold weather also but i good to come out this eve and am in for the photo shoot also.

 

Well I shouldn't say going up. When I got my 30k service done they found no metal shavings so that's a good thing. It's just starting to whine. I can live with it but once I see metal shavings that's when I'll replace it. Oh and I got the Buschur Racing under hood and Base shifter bushing that made a huge difference in shifting, I recommend everyone to get them.

I'll let you no if I come out. I'm suppose to be going to dirty gerks tonight but not really trying to spend money.

He was/is a good guy. Glad to see that shop is still around. His black car was originally silver and green, IIRC. I know who he sold that car to, but I think he had taken some of the mods off it. He stopped in to Circuit City sometimes when I worked there back in 97-98 (damn... I'm old), I remember talking to him for a few minutes about his Eclipse. He had just gotten hit during a snow storm and was in the process of repainting the lightning bolt graphics and making them match up.

Oh, and I wish this was the So Fla forums and we were discussing the local meet. I'm already tired of the cold weather, and it's not even cold yet!

 

I wouldnt do a 4.11 final drive u dont even go to the track. lol if u had a 6speed id say go for it but 4.11 for DD is gonna blow. At least from what i know about 4.11 gears u could be driving down the road in 5th gear at 65mph and be tacked up to 4 or 5k Just my opinion not sure if its the same as mustangs camaros n such but thats what ive read about them.

 

Oh no only way I would do a 4.11 if I decide to stroke it. I go back and forth every day to 2.0 or 2.3, I can't make up my mind lol.

 

or just keep what ya got. you dont race that thing anyway so why bother
