Bel Air weekely meet thread
Sure man. I can do it. I even have the patterns at my shop so you dont gotta take yours apart. I take it you wanna supply the thread because you want something more "red" than what i have? Its gonna be tough to find man...the red i used is the most "red" we could find in all of our supply books.
Btw-Anyone needs transmission work done, PM rob. He loves doing it!
As far as the clutch...everyone who has driven anywhere with me knows i dont drive like a retard. Mostly just put around in the car...NEVER launched...i cant believe it looks like that after 20k daily miles.

I'm pretty sure I have the thread at my work. I'll double check tomorrow and if I don't I'll check our supply books and order the closest one to the red in my car. If not I'll call my cousin since him and I both work at a shop that does embroidery and see if he has any. If that doesn't work than I'll just kill myself lol.
If you are being serious about the trans. work when/if I decide to do a refresh I'll let you and Rob no.
Well if you do find a super red, let me know! The torch red i have is what we used for erics...so i dunno. But let me know!
Also, was NOT serious about the trans work lol. Such a PITA...although it was DEF worth saving the 700 bucks in labor. It took my basically the whole weekend...and a total of...about 22 hours, from pulling the car in, to pulling the car out. Most of that was due to the following:
1. 4 hours of screwing with the release bearing that WOULDNT release. I ended up taking the clutch out to get the trans out.
2. Fighting to get the trans back up in there. After 2 hours and SOOO close, we finally decided to drop it and start again...the clutch was EVER so slightly out of alignment.
So really, it took me about 15 hours of actually working.

they look sick, have nice interiors, and dont break. lexus is 350 = 40k, 335i = 50k
fast, but i think they are hidious along with all new BMW's
its "fast" over 300 hp. it may not be a super car like shows but its fast enough. and unlike most people on this forum its called having a warrenty. when stuff breaks it gets fixed for free. and Lexus aftermarket and OEM parts are the same or cheeper then my X. already did the research.
not sure what there is not to like... looks simular to an evo but better..

Lexus = Girls Car
E90 body style is very clean. Looks a lot better than any Lexus.

Since everyone is silent, ill tell some funny stories from my trans/clutch job!
Top 3 tcase bolts, PITA. You have very little room, and when they are tight, you have NO room. Well we finally got brave(and stupid LOL) and got ALL of my extensions together, Was it 42 inches rob? lol. Ran extensions ALL the way out the passenger side wheel well, and attached a breaker bar to it, with a jack handle ontop. There was so much flex in it, you could do a half of a turn before it would even get tense lol. But it worked....hahaha!
Draining trans fluid...convo goes like this:
Rob-That trans drain bolt is tight, good luck!
Alex-Give me the big impact, ill get it out
Rob-Youre crazy man...gonna use an impact on that?
Alex-yea, check the new trans, if there is one on there ill do it
*check trans, its on there*
Big impact in hand, rob watching with disbelief that im about to take the big impact to my trans drain bolt...
One little pop of the trigger and it flys out lol.
he said hed give me props for that one! Havnt seen them yet though :-/

Well pretend that you didn't say that lol. Seriously you will regret trading in your car for a Fagexus. Plus you'll be the only guy I no who owns a Lexus and that's not a good thing lol.
You can pick up a 335i for 40k with less than 10k miles on it or you can get yourself back into a IX
evo ix = no thanks
just put my wheels back on today along with cleaning all the salt in my wheels wells, brakes, and under car.
went for a test drive, got into it in every gear multiple times and guess what Alex NO SLIPPING CLUTCH?!?!? Why? cuz its 70 degrees out. My car is tuned to like 23 psi and spikes to 25 psi when its warm. it spikes to 30+ when its cold. thats a big difference..
