Ill throw it out there i miss my car. But my jeep is still bad *** and prob wont miss the car as much when i strap the vortec to it.

 

your prolly gunna always miss it, im sure that vortec will make it a little better. hell i miss my first eclipse sometimes and the second even though they were both turds.

Im sure alex misses his other 10 cars sometimes too.

 

Alex-That's a hard decision. If your doing suede interior than possibly. The Rackaro's are pretty nice but those would look good too.

Kennis-I bet you do miss it but I bet you don't miss the maintenance lol. My T-Case is whining like a *****, I'm not fixing it until it breaks lol.

 

hey show just curious but did u do alot of racing or clutch dumps or it just from mileage?

 

I race every now and then. I've only launched my car maybe 3 times ever since I owned it and I bought it brand new. I have 30,XXX miles on it now.

 

see i think you got screwed too ^ ur tcase shouldnt be whineing with only 3 launches. i had 100+ on my case.

 

dang bud that scares me to know they go out that fast with no hard racing etc

 

I have 83k and mine doesnt make noise You almost ready to do a new trans yet show?

I wouldn't worry about like Dave said I think I got screwed lol.

It doesn't whine in low gears but once I get into 5th gear at around 45-60mph it whine so bad. My T-Case even rattles when I let off the throttle in some gears. Ray@LMS said his heard a lot worse and the T-Case's are still going strong. At this point I just have to deal with the whine, I'm going to drive it until the **** breaks and that goes with my trans and clutch lol.

Alex- My trans. I don't think it's that bad, once I swapped out the old shifter bushings and put in the BR underhood and base bushings it shifts like a brand new trans. One of the best mods I've done to the car and thats no lie lol.

Underhood shifter bushings...... on the shift cables to the transmission. No shifter base bushings however.

hey show, my tcase whined like a ****** for about 2-5k miles... cant remeber how long, and i replaced it before it "broke". i could have driven it alot longer but the whine gets soooooo loud in every gear eventually that you wont even want to drive the car. Thats why i fixed i, not cuz it wouldnt drive but because it was so loud and embarresing to drive it.
