I agree, don't waste money on buying just springs. Springs and dampers need to be paired together to get the best response from your suspension. Get coilovers.

Well i just wanted to get rid of that 4x4 gap for the time being..its only 20o 250 bucks im wasting its not much. and well the good news is xmas is here and the girlfriend is gonna get me some stuff and im gonna throw this at her to buy... she said she wasnt gonna spend more than 300bucks so springs would be perfect. and if i do get coil-overs down the road later ill just sell the spring. im not really worried about wastin money b.c there gonna get used and i want this car lowered asap! b4 spring so im gonna go with the swifs spec r's

i'll get you next time we can actually coordinate another meet. i'm really pleased with the performance results of the zchip, a great bang for the buck. feels like more power throughout the whole band and the whole user-end tunability is ****. but there are a couple things i need to get ironed out. when cruising on 95 going ~80mph between 3700-3900rpms, sometimes when you alternate between easy decel and then give light gas, it'll initiate this bucking. either you can power through it or let off the gas again to correct it. most of the time its subtle, but it's happened a couple times before where it's thrown a SES light. that, and i'm having trouble trying to get the software to recognize it's hooked up to the chip so i can view the map.

zeitronix and ttp are aware of this and are working out this kink. i was a first batch customer and they believe it's related to something in the programming of these people's chips

My uncles shop, my brother in-laws shop, a good friend with 3 lifts, My old job whenever i need it. Soon to be at my moms house when we put our new building up over summer. Always nice to have a lift. You really dont even need a lift to put springs in but its a whole hell of alot easier.

Especially these cars. I've done mine and my friend's old Evo in my garage with a floor jack and jackstands. I also did the suspension on my wife's STI the same way. Come to think of it, I've lost count of the number of suspension jobs I've done for myself and friends. I should have been charging more than just a case of beer!
