also i went with the Hotchkiss springs. drops the car 1 7/16" up front and 7/8" in the rear...
Especially these cars. I've done mine and my friend's old Evo in my garage with a floor jack and jackstands. I also did the suspension on my wife's STI the same way. Come to think of it, I've lost count of the number of suspension jobs I've done for myself and friends. I should have been charging more than just a case of beer!

anybody got a set of headlights and a hood they wanna get rid of? my buddy just bought a silver VIII. here's the story...
spotted it at a used car lot, test drove it and fell in love for $16k w/30k miles. someone else came and test drove it before he ended up going back to put money down. well this person decided he wanted to eat venison on his test drive and forgot his hunting rifle, so the evo was his next best option for a weapon. my buddy got the car anyway after the dealership knocked off $3k. no frame damage... just a banged up hood, broken driver side headlight, and a cracked front bumper.

Hmm post up in the for sale/ wanted add probally be able to find someone on the forum. that sucks but he probally coulda worked a hell of a deal out better than that. but thats pretty good 13k w. 30k miles..****t..lol who is it that bought it wheres he from?
yeah he just made up an evoM name but hasn't started posting yet. his name is nick and he's in the car club. works for bwoody in edgewood and does a hell of a job at powdercoating. he did my intercooler pipes. bought it from adam's jeep in aberdeen. i'm sure he'll want to hit up the evo meets but just not in its current shape.
lol yea i wouldnt come out in that shape either..but he should be able to find a hood and headlight. if not go carbon fiber hood and new jdm headlights. Did he do your pipes on the side or during work hours? is he cheap? I remember that car being for sale there someone made up a thread about it me and dave posted a reply in.
he did em during working hours and charged me $60 to do the 2 piece upper intercooler pipe and 2 piece intercooler pipe that comes off the lower for my bov. i don't know if thats cheap or not since it was my first time getting powdercoating done. i'm gonna go back and get my strut bar done.
