As far as doing it, you can do it yourself with a baseball bat and heat gun if you want. I rolled my lips like that and you cant tell they arnt professionally done. But you can also buy a tool that mounts to your hub with the wheel off, and you heat the fender and turn a crank and it rolls the fender that way.
+1 I think Dave did his own fender rolling and used that tool when he had his IX. I don't think I can see him taking a baseball bat to his car lol

Yea, i think i made it sound a little worse than it actually is. Just some pressure and you bend the lip under, thats all. you can do it with your hands if you can handle the heat of the fender lol. It did make me laugh with the picture of sicks swinging for the fences on his fender because i told him i did mine with a bat.

I also wont be out this week, or for about a month, had some car trouble that required the car to be taken apart

and nope wrong. i didnt actually roll my fenders i cut the inner lip out that you normally bend in for a cleaner look. then after that part is cut out it is sealed up so it doesnt rust or anything. usually when the fenders are rolled the paint is bent so it cracks and can peel.

Richards Body shop off york road in Towson did it for 150 bucks. Ray at LMS sent me there and they did a great job. thats where ill be going again.

if anyone has any questions let me know on thursday.

Project destory all evos! Im coming for you show!

Lol only kidding...Actually, i have been having cooling problems ever since i had the car, thought it was my thermostat, changed it, thought it was my rad cap, changed it, then my fan relay, changed it, and after all of it, i did some investigating to find my headgasket may be leaking...Sure enough the next day the car wouldnt start. So i pulled the plugs out to find cyl 1,2, and 4 all doused in coolant. Changed them, fired it up and had coolant spitting out the side of the block. So needless to say, my headgasket was leaking for a while, and finally took the big dump. Kinda crappy but it happens. I plan to have the car back on the road in 3-4 weeks...since while i have the head off im gonna do the springs/retainers/valves to get rid of my tapping.

Mabye ill stop by in the jeep tommorow lol.

Haha! I'd hold your hand kennis if I didn't have to go to dutchie land this weekend

Oh I thought when you roll a fender, you actually enlarge the wheel well curve itself a bit. That's why I was like wtf? Your way makes a little more sense. And $150 for that isn't bad at all to get them professionally done. Looks like after the exhaust, rims are next
