if you want to go to a dealer go to fitzgerald mitsubishi in annapolis, as far as shops, atlantic motorsports in gaithersburg is a good place for service or aftermarket stuff and they are ase certified as well.

Towson! Crazy man. I'm from there! Atlantic motorsports is a good place to do service and to get tuned. It's kinda far though. Check out EIP tuning. They are off of 140 in Westminster. Love the avatar. Hope the guy can do better than Brian!

Oh my God no!

EIP is definitely NOT the place you want to go to!

If you need simple services such as an oil change, I would recommend that you learn to do it yourself. The money you will save in the long run will offset the cost of the tools you might need to purchase in order to do it. Add to the fact that you will know exactly what has been done to the car and that it has been done right, and you just can't go wrong.

If you absolutely can't or won't do an oil change yourself, in reality, any service station should be able to handle it for you.

This is good advice. As far as dealerships go, they have a few mechanics that are Evo enthusiast/owners and know very well what they are doing.

Honestly, this is the best advice replied so far. Even if you've never worked on a car before, there is only one thing in the servicing routine I'd imagine is outside a beginners capabilities (that I can think of off the top of my head). So if you're not replacing belts, you should be able to do it yourself. There is a vast amount of knowledge on the forums and people willing to help you out. Hell, if you come out to a meet or something that I'm at, I can walk you through it visually.

OMG really? Sorry bout the bad advice. I haven't been up there since 2003. They did GREAT work on my Prelude but that was like 8 years ago. I guess they quality just fell off. Was it shotty work that put em out of business?

Numerous dissatisfied customers lead to a declining work load which put them out of business. In all honesty, good riddance. They totally screwed over one of my friends who had his 337 worked on there.

Not sure what exactly besides an oil change, but drop Chad @ CBRD a PM. He is located in York, PA. It's about 35 minutes from Towson. STraight up 83N. I'm always around the Towson/Timonium/Baltimore area and CBRD is only one that touches my EVO.

Pass on Jerry's. Both times I've had warranty work they screwed up. It was minor stuff but it shouldn't happen.

yea no to jerrys unless its warrenty work. they are all dicks and also screwed me outta most of my warrenty when it came to my stock transfer case breaking when i was stock. also they are alot more expensive and they NEVER see evos there so they really dont know what they are doing and only have one evo tech. thats ONE person that knows how to work on evos thats why they always screw it up.

stick to atlantic motorsports. get a bunch of mods and stuff together and go there and do it all at once.
