Hey Dale K, did you buy the yellow EVO that had been sitting on the rack for a while? I noticed it was gone yesterday. BTW how did the guys treat you there.

 

CBuster, same here. Thats where I picked up my EVO a few monthes ago @ about 200 over invoice. They gave me a pretty good trade in on my WRX also. I cant say much for their service dept though. Took them a week to get me a new set of wheel locks after they lost the key that went with the ones on the car.

 

I just got a phone call from someone at Rockville Mitsubishi because I put in an online request yesterday.

He said they have a silver, blue, and yellow in stock. He said the silver does not have a sunroof, but they have two silvers coming in tomorrow (hard to believe they're getting two more in so soon and in the same color isn't it? suspicious timing) and they do have the sunroof and the cf wing.

I asked price and he said $36k. ahahahaha
So I kinda laughed and talked about price for a minute and he asked "well how much do you expect to pay?" and I said "somewhere between invoice and MSRP, but we can worry about that later".

He said test driving would be okay, and I said maybe I'll stop by next Tuesday. I took his name and number. He had a really thick accent. His name was Benny I believe. I will ask for him when I go in though, as a courtesy to him for calling me.

Yeah, I got the yellow one that was on the rack. I didn't know they changed to being a Mitsubishi dealer recently. Normally I don't go further south than Wall's bakery so I never saw it on the rack. Now they have a silver one.

They treated me OK. See Cory Cohen and you can probably get the same deal, which would be less than $30 since the silver one doesn't have a wing.

I thought this was Benny though. He called while I was out today and left a message with someone else here who said the guy's name was something like Benny as well. hmm

 

I just moved to No. VA today (Herndon) from So Cal. WHEW!!
