mine didnt line up to good where it meets the turbo hotside and i ended up messing up the threads in the hotside. be careful of that

make sure you thread every bolt and nut on before you tighten any down

Anti-seize is your friend, if you ever plan on taking it back off for whatever reason. If you do use antiseize, prepare for a bit of smoke for the first 10 minutes or so after you first run the car. The looks you get in traffic are pretty funny.

Get a prybar also. A friend will also help, but it's not too hard to do on your own.

its not hard....if you still have your stock o2 housing... there is a bracket that holds the o2 housing to the block i believe? so you wont struggle to get the stock manifold off.... unbolt that and it will make your job a lot easier...

Pull the radiator, it makes thing so much easier. Just pull the whole turbo, manifold, o2 assembly out and swap it on the ground. +1 on the anti-seize, even if you have no plan to pull it out later. Get a can of WD-40 and soak all the fasteners the night before or after the engine has been warmed up but has started to cool. the thermal expansion will help it get into the threads and make things come apart a little easier. If you haven't put an aftermarket o2 housing now would be a good time also.

Ozz if you want the 10.5 hotside let me know, you can do the install all at one time. I think everyone pretty much covered the install, also becareful not to break any of the bolts...if its stuck use some WD40 or breaker bar! good luck!

if you are just installing the manifold do this..

drain the radiator from the 10mm lower drain plug, remove rad hoses, remove rad, put a piece of cardboard over the ac condenser

remove the two 14mm downpipe bolts..
remove the two 14mm stock o2 housing bracket bolts, and the bracket..

remove the upper heatshield..

remove the nuts holding the manifold on, remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts holding the turbo to the manifold....

unhook the 02 sensor from under the spark plug cover...

have a friend pull out (towards the ac condenser) on the turbo.. remove the manifold..

then install ur new one in reverse order.

Do what they said, they are the expert! I thought I could get away without removing the rad...said I would be very careful but couple of tugs and pulls and next thing you know my rad fins are all jacked up!

Also while it's still wamr spray on some PBlast or similar pentraiting oil. Also if you are going to use anti-seize get the ultra high temp, it will burn off but will still provide some anit seize capability. The PBlast is the key, let it soak a long time, use luberally also. Those factory bolts on the turbo flange have no anit-seize and they are sometimes know to strip threads. Hope it goes well, take your time and it'll all work out.

pb lube, let it sit for about 15 mins...then remove ur old heatshield..then go to town its pretty basic... removing the radiator and o2 housing is an absolute huge waste of time and isnt nessacary..
