Short shifter cruise

How many MR owners in this area would be down for a cruise to PA to get a shortshifter installed?

I figure after I do a much needed brake installation I want to do this.

Nah, they make em, for the longest time there was only one place that made them, installed them, they were in Washington. That business is now letting authorized shops sell/install them.

I looked into getting this a couple years ago when they first came out, but I wasnt going to ship my car all the way across the country for an install.

B, can you get some pricing for us?

thanks,

caelin~

lol An angry Works Customer knew I wanted to do this and showed me what Works did to make the short shifter for the MRs.

I was going to get it done but never got around to it and since I have an Evo VIII now with all that I don't need it anymore. lol

If I was keeping my MR I would definitely be doing this.

It's ridiculous that Works won't let people with the skill to install their own do so.

I had pictures but I don't know what I did with them. I'll have to see if I can dig them up.

I agree...I find it very selfish. See the reason they don't is because from what I remember you don't actually need any extra parts they just modify something on the car to make the throw shorter. Well actually there is 1 part but I guarantee its less then $5. lol

So they want to milk all the labor they can from this install.

Who is the shop that does this? I thought that this causes problems with the MR, can someone who has this done chime in?
