Hurricane my ***

This is ri-freakin-diculous. federal governemt is closed another day. meaning the bld i work at will be closed, but since i'm a contractor, i prob will have to take these days as leave or not get paid for them.. and I have my freakin windows open.. who makes these damn decisions!!! its either the half inch of snow or the strong breeze, and people freak our.. get a damn grip... at least my car is tucked away in a nice garage were falling braches and such cant get to it... last week my car was still parked at an open lot at nights.. so i guess thats good.

Down here in Raleigh, NC and they had this storm so hyped up. I was out hitting golf ***** during the worst part of the storm. It was definetaly one pathetic excuse for a hurricane.

yeah, that was the crappiest hurricane i've ever been in. i was in florida when andrew started to touch land and i was in cape hatteras when the one in 2000 hit there. anyways, the mall is all freaked out, so they closed at 4 pm yesterday, and don't open till 3 today. i'm hoping it isn't going tobe busy, but i know everyone is taking this chance to go shopping.

for such a ***** little storm, the repurcussions are pretty crazy. springfield mall closed early yesterday so people wouldn't have to work through the storm, but today they closed early because the water pressure here in fairfax county is so low that not a single sink and bathroom in the mall is working. so they shut down the mall indefinetely until the water authority fixes it. pacsun was open for 1 hour today. it was crazy.

Yeah. Apparently DC has a history with over reacting to weather.

But I had no electricity for 12 hours. And now we are advised to boil our water ands conserve water for the next 2 days because the treatment plants were out of sevice for a while.

I did get 2 day paid time off work though! huhu...

Umm...guys...im from Va Bch. and we got hit pretty good. Trees all over the place, houses ripping, about 1million people without electricity. Today was so crazy. Took me an hour to get my whopper at Burger King. I cant believe how packed it was, well thats because of the blackouts. Whats worse, today our curfew came into effect. It started from 9PM to morning. Thats why my *** is home now. Those dumb cops threatening to give us $500 tickets!! This sucks ***. And whats even worst, this is my day off from work!! I gotta go to work tomorrow.

Oh, yeah...you guys down on the coast got hammered, no doubt, but up here in the DC area, it was just a bunch of rain and gusty winds...BFD...I've seen thunderstorms that were worse...

my electricity flashed on and off for a couple of hours. luck you for getting paid for not being there. damn retail management, i lost close to 20 hours. hopefully that won't mess with my paycheck too much.

it was a class 5 hurricain with the fastest winds ever reported by a weather report plane! so it wasn't a ***** storm... it just didnt have any fight left when it hit land and had been reduced to a class 2. although i watched a weather reported get blown away literally... by 100 mile an hour winds, i have to say that was one of the dumbest and coolest things ive ever seen. i dont understand these weather guys...
