Another wrecked evo.

Found this while reading some news. Wrecked evo and speed was a factor.

Yea, im 18 and seem to have no problems. And my previous car was RWD with double the power of that evo.

Lets not turn this into an age debate. Age is really only a number, someone who respects and understands how quickly things can get hairy, will drive the car safe. Paying a bunch of money every month has a big impact on that also.

Hopefully the driver and passenger are alright. I want the headlights! lol.

Age and speed are always a factor. There are exceptions to every rule but age is not just a number. Younger drivers have a higher insurance premium for a reason.

Sure speed is a factor, but *****ing because of the age is simply stupid. Who cares if hes 19, or 25. Plenty of 25 year olds have wrecked cars/evos from losing control. Hes not the first.

I feel the same way! I've had my evo since i was 17! I am almost 21 now.... i've had it for over 3 1/2 years now..... so age is not a factor... people just do dumb things... maybe his parents bought the car for him and he had no respect for it and didnt car what he did to it...

Thank you. I agree, but at the same time age has something to do with it. Experience comes with age. I got my Evo when i was 20 so not too far off, but I respect my car and respect my abilities, I know I am not capable of certain things and therefor do not try them on an open road. I feel bad for the evo

i dont think age is the problem, the problem is respecting your car and life. some people dont respect either

That may be true but statistically these accidents happen more with younger drivers. There is really no getting around that. If your an exception to the rule that is great but numbers dont lie.
