VA Beach Mitsu Parts

My 03 VIII has developed a small hole in the upper TB coolant hose that's spraying coolant all over when hot. Simple to replace (tho a 3/8" hose didn't work with the bends, it kinked too much) and I need to dig up a local place to get the parts.

I sent a message to Hall Mitsu, and am waiting for them to get back to me. I've had problems with them in the past, wondering if I should give Little Joe's Mitsu a try. I can already figure that I'm going to be charged too much by both for a couple 8"-ish 3/8" hoses. I just want my car back.

Hall gave me a reply, wants $38 for both hoses special order. For the moment I have a bit of 3/8" hose that has a bit of a crimp in it (upper hose), cost a handful of spare change. The thing doesn't seem to care.

Little Joe's is somewhat closer to home. I had Hall techs unable to solve a problem with my 03 when I first bought it, had to come here to get the scoop on what was bothering it (it was missing the proper boost solenoid vacuum lines with the boost pills)

rartist, most people that don't have evos would never even bother to think about looking to see if the factory bcs lines are still on the car. Even the evo "God"(I use that term very loosely) at Little Joe's had to be reminded of this whenever we had an evo with boost issues come in.

Also, If you can't find any hoses and don't feel like buying $38 hoses and having to wait (I know I wouldn't). Gates sells a piece of metal that is in a coil that allows you to bend coolant hoses without them crimping. All of the Napa auto parts stores keep them in stock, so just another idea that you can try.
