Does anyone have a crimp tool that works on square ECU pins? I'll bring a six pack of your choice and use it at your place. I need to crimp about 70 pins to build an ECU harness extension.

I got the ecu pin this resolved. Now I'm on to changing valve seals, springs and cams. Since I have my pockets turned out, does anyone local have a valve spring compressor I can use? One of the timing gear locking devises would be great too.....

maryland emissions?

can any maryland residents tell me if it's possible to pass emissions and inspection without a cat (replaced w/ test pipe), and if it can be done without putting on the stock cat? i've heard people talking about fooling the ECU somehow but nothing certain.

thanks!

im not in southern md but i get updates on this thread after posting in it a while back lol. i just bought a turbo kit from ETS last week. Decided to go with the PT 6266 after talking with Michael. It's not really a winter project but it was close enough lol.

Come to think of it i guess i did do something over the winter. I got headstuds, s2's and beehive springs/titanium retainers installed. I totally forgot about that.

Had fun replacing my TOB this weekend, talk about a blast doing it on concrete with jack stands, thank god one of my friends came by and helped me. BUT AWD Motorsports notified me and my BB FP Black will arrive Monday. Hope to have it installed Wed, tuned Thursday. After 16,000.00 worth of mods/labor last year, this is about all I'm getting for the next 20 years or so Anyone going to MIR this year? Last year not many Evo's spotted.

Sounds good, I'll cya there. Year before last was when I hot lapped it 9 times within 50 minutes and blew my tans/transfer case. Last year it was in the shop most the spring/summer getting built shortblock and had a blown turbo. Hoping this year I'll be set, we shall see.

Getting my headlights blacked out tonight. Can't wait. Mr Kosky will be doing them, I know you all know him. WW Stormtrooper GSR.

Saw a RR X turning onto 235 North from Best Buy the other day, aftermarket but quiet exhaust
Saw a PB Ralliart Sportback twice, cruised with him once; very cool dude

The only older Evo I ever see on the road is either Porter (RARE) or the RR IX MR guy that lives in CRE. Don't think he's on here.

As long as you don't have a cell when they scan it you'll be alright. I have no cats and I passed ....
