I need a good place for a tune near dc? my price range is 100-250. Most places i called are trying to charge 500-950.. anyone know anyone who does it really good and cheap? there has to be a place.

 

good and cheap normally do not go together unless you know someone or can get a good deal on a road tune. otherwise, depending on your mods, and good proper dyno tune in the DC area is going to be around 350-400 ish.

a tune is not something you really want to go the cheap route on, some parts yes, but leaving your engine to chance is a bad idea in my opinion.

theres a bunch of different places, all with their own following, around the DC area. just check out the mid atlantic vendor section for some ideas. gl with the tune

 

Like I said on your DC Evo post, go to CBRD. You don't want to skimp on your most important mod.

Noticed you got tuned by TopSpeed, are they any good? how much did they charge you?

 

cbrd is a great place to go. a little bit of a drive, but good customer service. they are probably hard to reach bc they are closed for expansion for a week+. just send chad a PM. regardless of what people say, the guys at Atlantic Motorsports are great guys and will hook you up with a good tune. either way gl with the build

I was tuned at CBRD, awesome work, customer service, products, etc. You're not gonna find a good tune for $250. I think mine was $450 and worth every penny.
