Northern VA Evo Meet
Douch #1 tells douche # deux to shut up, he wasn't racing and blah blah blah, I'm a man, blah blah blah. Or something to that effect. Douche # deux says to Douch # 1, "cool out toretto, you're gonna blah blah blah," I didn't here it all because I was laughing at the FF reference. Douche#1 shoved douche # Deux. Awesomeness! Douche # deux shoved douche #1 harder slamming him into his Honda. More awesomeness!! Then they started to fight. Most awesomeness!!!
The funny thing about watching Honda owners fight, is it's alot like watching Honda owners race. It's kinda sloppy, not alot happens, it's noisy, it lasts between 15 and 19 seconds and when it's over you feel kinda let down and a little dirty. As I was walking back to my car my girl asked, "why were they fighting?" and I said, "because they drive hondas". Then we left. All told it was a great way to waste 17 minutes of my life.

So I just home from this "meet", and I gotta say, it was pretty amazing! Here's the story: I show up and find about 10-15 cars sitting in the garage parking lot. I was sad to see I was the only Evo, but ehh, whatever. Get out, start chatting with some folks and as we're speaking someone in a SI civic starts driving loudly back and forth in the parking garage. I say loudly, not fast, but apparently it was enough to draw the attention of the security guard. He told us to leave so we go to the outside parking lot and as we're exiting our cars to resume talking the loud (not fast) Honda pulls up and someone says, "park it and stop racing". The SI civic owner, who will be refered to from here on as douche #1 pulls around the parking isle and starts to get in the face of another Honda driver, who will be refered to as douche # deux.

these are the same toolsacks in kingstowne who think they're the shiz. the downside of northern va is there are alot of "im feelin myself" bmw's mazda 3's and civics. too many. yet i dont ever run across cocky corvettes or porsches.

So who's up for a quick meet this weekend? Government holiday means I get an extra day off from work. Wouldn't mind driving around the area in the nice weather. I've got some friends in DC we could hang out with, roll around the city. Also, got my new Vibrant turbo back installed.
