Sometime this fall I am going to buy an Evolution. I would have bought one recently but the dealership acted like a bunch of asses. I'll wait until the fall comes around and they finally act like they want to sell me a car. So in the mean time I'm still driving the Subaru.
So eventually there will be a black Evo in Columbia MD.

I'm in Columbia MD. I'd of bought an Evo already but I refuse to pay the mark up or all the added on stuff. Why can't I find a Evo with no sunroof, no wing, in silver and for MSRP or hopefully slightly under. Luckily I'm in no hurry to buy another new car.

What about Carmax in Laurel, MD? I bought mine from Chookeat@Carmax (as did Turbo XS) and it was below MSRP.

Already checked there. They don't have any in and openly said they didn't think that they were going to get anymore of them. I'm just going to keep checking back with them ever week. I wish I could just order one for the price you guys got. I'd rather not have red, yellow or black.

 

I got a call from jba. They left a message wanting to negotiate a new price. We will see what they want. Hopefully they have come to their senses. But if not, taking my business elsewhere's. Like rockville. Carmax said the only way they would get evo's was if they were used. But anythings possible. He said it right away. I was in the door then out within 2 minutes. N/A. Don't worry I will find a dealer that will sell for msrp and I will let you know.

 

Let me know also, because I am going through it with these idiots. I think that some of these sales people have not been able to be cocky like Mercedes, or lexus dealers, so they are making up for it with the EVO. I asked a guy at fox to cut me a deal, and he told me that I must want to buy a lancer es, and not an evo. Id like to retain my humble attitude a little longer, but when darcars is telling me that they now have a $3995 markup, and just a month ago they said $1500, I am going to loose it. And to boot they wanted to offer me $15000 for my trade. I sat in there for 2 hours to get them down to $2000 on the markup, and 20000 on a trade that should be $25000 according to KBB. (what a waste of time) I guess i will be waiting a little longer for my purchase.

 

well i know malloy just sold 2 more... they had a 5000 markup on mine, but i said i would walk today with it if you come down to msrp, and not put any bs on it. 6 hours later when i came back they did it, and they have been on the boycott list since day 1
