yeah, ffx twn center meets are gettin bigger everytime.. but i wouldn't say they're out of control...

 

FairFax is pretty cool, I hope that there's a good turn out this time.

A few of us from the DCEvoClub went over one week and were not impressed with the actions of some of the participants. I personally would stay away from anything that draws attention from the police. If things settle down it might be worth going to later.

 

since there's so many cars that roll up to ffx TC there's always going to be those few hard headed ricer kids who thinks they own the roads and challenges everyone to a race, i bet those are the participants your referring to right?... but as far as i'm concerned the majority/rest of the people there are cool and its always good/fun meeting new people that have the same interest in cars as i do. Car club meets are fun since everyone drives the same car and can relate, but imo 'general' car meets are better since there's more 'eye candy', but then there's always going to be those cocky ricers who gets on everyones nerves... your right, the meets are a bit out of control due to a certain few, but its only a few..

 

I decided not to go tonight, I have to stay home and look after my VERY pregnant wife. I'm going up to FedEx Field again tommorow to participate in the BMW ultimate driving experience again (you need to be 21). I was going to take Best Performance, but my buddy was in the car with me and he was most decidedly Most Improved, and they wouldn't give our car both awards But if you want to drive the living **** out of a brand new X3 (which handles just like a car, I know, I had it sideways ina turn at around 65-70 MPH), come up to FedEx tommorow or sunday. ITS FREE!!

 

i was right it was outta control. atleast 250 cars. towards the end of the meet two R32's showed up with a rack of supras, a newer model galant VR-4, and a teky 240sx.
it was a great time if you are a car freak like me

 

yeah that was dan in the Teckademics Drift 240 (s14 w/s15 front end) and the rest of the JDMSupercars crew. They were all up at Drift Showoff too.

 

cool guys cool cars. one of the R32's got pulled over leavin for no front plate. FFX cops suck butt.

 

Then it's a good thing I DIDN'T go, I would have gotten pulled over probably.. I was threatened on Thursday after an ECBoost meet for exhaust and and my plate being 'obstructed'
