It is adjacent to the virginia beach ampitheater and would be a good time to make a showing of all the EVO's in the area. I know there should be alot of subies showing also.

 

Ok for those of you not familer with Va Beach, Princess Ann Park is on Princess Ann road right next to Landstown High School. You cant miss this school therefore you cant miss this park. If your comming from the highway, from lets say Hampton your easiest route would probably be 64 to 264 heading to the beach, get off on the Witchduck exit (theres only one), come to the stop light and make a left. the next light you come to will be Princess Ann road. Make that left and follow it straight down till you get to the park, it will be on your nght side. Again look for the school, you will see the 25 mph lights hanging over Princess Ann Road so you use as a sign to keep a look out. Bascially the road you wanna look for is Concert Drive, make that right (it is a light) and you will see the parking lot for the Park. Thats where it every body parked last year at the DragVA meet. Oh and if your interested, we could all meet up and roll into this meet together. Now granted I dont own a Evo, but I do own a tricked out O.Z........ if you all wanna meet up we can just meet at my house then roll out to PA park together........I live about 10mins away from PA park

hey rick i'm down for kickin it on whatever day you have off. but i really don't know what to do or where to meet at. so any ideas? you know the 25th will be for every type of cars but we can meet up before for the evo/lancer owners. just a thought tho.

 

im glad i traded in my rsx for my evo. yesterday i beat a z28 from dead start and from 3rd gear. my rsx wouldnt even caught up or been able to play with that car.

i cant wait to put some aftermarket parts in.

 

I'm off every weekend, so if anybody wants to meet up at any point just holla. My work hours are from 7am-3pm Mon-Fri so just about anytime is good for me. Just lemme know when and where.

Around the end of this month, I'll be back in VA. I'll be driving through the entire state from Kentucky over to Norfolk, so this drive could get pretty damn boring. I did the same thing about a year ago, and right at about the 12 hour mark, I ran into a silver Evo on the road. This was the first time I had ever seen another Evo out in the wild. Well, we both punched it and had a little fun on the Interstate. Many cars got passed like they were going in reverse, and it was pretty neat to see two Evo's just picking off car after car, even if the other's weren't participating. We had this one Honda something-or-other try to keep up....sad.

Anyway, We kept it up for about a good 10 minutes or so, then we hit stupid Norfolk area traffic. Well, whoever that silver Evo was....That was fun and we'll have to do it again sometime. Any other Evo's in the area: let's get together. I'll probably be living out in VA Beach. I'm looking for an apartment to rent right now. I need a 2 bedroom place with gated parking/pool/high speed internet support/decent community. i seen a silver evo next to va beach bvld. a couple of time but he never want to play. i think maybe he think that my car is a regular lancer because i put the rally lancer wing on my evo to kept the car on low profile. but the front and the stock body kit should give it off.
