Thinking about moving

So I've got a wild hair up my *** and I'm considering Dubai as a place I might wanna move after I get out of school. I see all these nice cars and I figure there's alot of potential business out there. I'm in school right now to be an engine builder, head porter, etc. I'll have opportunities right out of school to work at a few race shops in the US, but I wanna try something different.

So what are the big shops out there? Do they all do the standard body kits and paint jobs or are there some real performance shops? Who does built engines for you guys? They don't have to do EVO's, most of my experience is on V8's anyway, but I'm up for anything from Hondas to Zondas to F1.

And for the US Citizens, what have your experiences been like, why did you move out there, are you making crap tons of money?

Thanks for the replies,
Danny Anderson

Just what your basic middle east experiences have been like. What laws have you had trouble with? I didn't know Kuwait was the next best thing to Dubai, how'd you end up there? What is the "scene' like, if any? Not necessarily EVOs, but any sort of racing.

Well to start.. i was born here.. im basically from India so i dont belong here myself.. been here for so long that its mentally set that im prolly gonna die here too! :P

The trouble here is that if ya have a car like the Evo.. not many cops know its an Evo until u start proving your points.. I got pulled over the 3rd day i got my evo.. the silliest fines were bcoz my license plate in the front was outta place!! WTF? it comes like that.. he just wudnt believe me..

We'll i learnt my lesson.. i was in the wrong place! hehe.. otherwise.. we have lots of places where this is happening on a very huge basis.. i cant name the places online but we have quite a few where there are nearly 100 - 250 cars every weekend that gather up and flare it up..

Cops do pay us a visit sometimes but its no big issue.. they are usually there to disperse the crowd.. I personally havent seen a complete bust till now.. n i wish i dont ever see it! heheh

Im sure ill have some of the evo members here in kuwait reply to this
