Calling all CO evo owners!
Calling all CO evo owners!
What would you guys think about tryin to build up a mailing list or registry, to start putting together something together with all us lucky evo owners in denver? I know there are a lot of guys spread out through some different boards, so I'm sending this to a few of them. I'm just thinking it would be nice to put together some of the things the Suby guys are doing out here, lunches, race days, mountain drivers and stuff like that. I know quite a few of the Suby dudes and have thought about trying to put together a big DSM/Suby drive and bbq next summer, popssibly throw a track day in there for our own semi-formal AWD challenge, anything along those lines really. Let me know what ya'll think!
Well I would take the time and effort to do this myself, but I work over seas every few months, so I'm not sure how much I could get done. However, there are a few guys on board from ClubWRX, including a few Suby guys. I'm sure most of them would show up for some events since they welcome us EVO guys with open arms to their events.
RIght now I'm really just trying to gauge interest so if you know someone who is on the boards but doesnt post in the regions forums, please let them know by PM or email that we are trying to put this together

Well guys we are getting a lot of response to this idea in other clubs, the thought of opening this up to include ALL awd cars is growing quite popular. There is such a strong number of awd owners in colorado, be it Suby, Mistu, Eagle, BMW or Audi, it really is the tuners choice here. A few more days of gathering the general feelings of the boards and I'll really hunker down on getting the list together

Hey I hate to be a wet blanket, but EVO owners in colorado, for the most part, just like to hang out in parking lots and drive slow. It's all about looking good and people knowing what parts you bought, not really about doing things related to speed....

Coming from a guy who doesn't hang out with any other evo owners, I don't think your words are taken serious. Since most of the Evo owners are nice and most of them are driving around. Some hang out in parking lots and chit chat.....just before they go driving.
But I guess you won't know what it is like to drive an Evo for quite some time......peace out.

If you would just be cool and not talk the crap people would take to the fun places after the parking lot talk. We do go on hi speed play runs in the mountains and on the high ways. We go hunt out the Drift kids since they know how to control there cars. Brian what the hell happend to you the frist night you were cool but now your the cockyest thing next to Mr Twisty
Just kidding. But maybe if you were cool we would bring you. One last question is the RS really yours????? Theres alot of people that say its your girls.
Sorry for the delay on getting back to this everyone!! I think I might just be going ahead and putting together this mailing list myself as I was just releived of my job on monday, so no dissapearing overseas for months at a time. Right now I'm not really trying to put together a specific meet anytime soon or anything, I am just trying to gather up the info for all the AWD owners around here to put together a meet in the future. But we arent talking any little 5 or 6 car meet, I want to put together something that will make people green with envy at the copious amounts of traction from all those wheels being powerd lol. Something next summer that can be planned out well ahead of time, with somewhere that has the room for all of us and isnt way too out of the way for the majority....maybe like Adams County Fairgrounds or soemthing along those lines. Updates will soon follow
Harvey,
R32's? Ya know, if you REALLY want to listen to those exhaust notes, I guess we can include them too (does being nice get me a free house tequila on friday??? or maybe a quicky test drive in the RS??)
