Reny when you get those fylers done either fax them to 314-968-2530, but call first as that is a shared line or email to mike_p_cunningham@yahoo.com

When should I start praying that these won't be the STLSR type of commitments?

Tell you what guys...and gals...we're inclusive, not exclusionary...

I will first talk to Bandana's this weekend (I travel M-F for work, most weeks, and no I'm not a trucker...) to see if they would be freaked out if a number of same make/model cars showed up at their establishment...pending that outcome, I will then start a NEW THREAD stating a meet to take place in St. Louis, with date & place in the title to generate some interest.

If we get a response of some ungodly number, we may have to find a different venue, but I would be really pleased with 15-20, actually astounded with that...

Would this plan alay the fears of being runoff by county and the local shopkeeps? Then you flyer makers and so forth can go forward to spread the good word of Evo-ness.

I have belonged to BMWCCA and PCA chapters that actually went places (tracks, drives, outings, social events, races, etc...) and have really enjoyed said events.

These cars are a hoot to drive. It's also a blast to hang out with people who share the same love of a marque/model. It can also be very helpful as far as learning what works/doesn't work, finding help with installations, where cool roads are to romp on, etc...

As for the concern about STLSR: That is a forum for the posting of tit pics of your friend's girlfriend and a place to tell of your automotive misdeeds...I am trying to get a small group of Evo/Lancer people together to BS about our cars...if it is something that goes well, maybe it can happen again, maybe evolve (no pun intended) into a regular group for track days, dyno time, pizza eating, whatever...

Let me know what you think...as a previous poster stated, let's get our s*** together and make something happen.

Are you possibly the wingless WW Evo I see on Manchester on occasion?
BMWCCA and PCA? Excellent, I assume you've spent a bit of time at the track. I work for "the Luxury Car Center of the Universe" and we have several customers and tech's that attend those events (club track days, autoX, etc.) Unfortunately, a Saturday will not work for me, travel and racing every weekend limits my "fun" time -LOL. I had one weekend off this summer since halfway through Feb. and attended a Mitsu meet at the Bentley Dealer which was small, but nice.
A few folks are trying to gather Evo's from the Washington, MO area for a Eat-n-Drive type deal, if anyone is interested in the future (not trying to hyjack this thread- strictly for informational purposes only).
mmmmm Bandanas makes me hungry!

I would love to see some type of group form for special events and meets/greets, good idea.

I am checking with Bandana's to make sure it will be cool to meet in the area...like I've stated, there should not be a problem, we are there to eat (and BS, and stuff...)

However, there really needs to be some adult behavior: no burnouts, no racing, no generally stupid behavior, no rudeness, no littering...you know common sense and polite public behavior...

I will be posting a new thread this weekend with a very descriptive title to get some more attention for our little meet 'n greet.

As of right now it is still Bandana's @ 141 & Manchester, Sat Aug 13th, 2pm...

Sorry Kryptonite, we will definitely try a different day/time for the next one to include others. BTW, I am not a wingless WW Evo...have the wing and the luxury package. Yes, I drive the pig of Evo's, and like it. When you are old you will like luxury, too.

OLD?
Funny!!!!! I don't fit your typical EVO genre either..... I'm older than most of these folks. At the only meet I've ever gone to, a young fellow asked me if I allowed my kids to drive my MR...... LOL!
Alrighty then, if things fall thru, I'll stop in.....have fun!

Aug 13th 2pm, cool.
Hey Kryptonite, I may be the wingless white Evo that you have seen. The only time I have seen an MR was on Manchester Rd. Do you have short blonde hair? If so, the one time I have seen you, you waved but were turning and I didn't have time to wave back. I wasn't trying to be rude. If it wasn't you, forget I said any of this.
