Colorado Area AEM EMS Tuners?

Hey Guys I am currently about to buy a 03 EVO with AEM EMS and I need to know who could tune the car in the Colorado Area? I plan on doing serious modding to the car and am also worried about the altitude difference being that the car is coming from PA. Thanks for the help.

Keep in mind that if the AEM has been tuned it is probably also running the O2 target map on it as well to make sure it always gets the target that it is tuned for. This way it will compensate for these changes that you are worried about until you can get it tuned again. Just be sure the O2 feedback is on for all levels and rpm range and you should be completly fine.

If you have not bought the AEM let me know and I'll give you the name of someone who is awesome with the Autronic.

thanks alot fellas for the advice that makes sense. I am actually thinking about this one right here, what do you guys think. I don't like the white rims, but I really like the idea of everything but bigger turbo etc being done. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=102480

Also how reliable do you think the built bottom end will be, as far as longevity. I realize it will be strong, but will it last as long? Thanks

Yes a built bottom end will last just as long as the OEM if it is tuned correclty. It only takes one mistake to crap a motor. Power wise people have made 500-600 hp on the stock bottom end without issues but I would say between that number would be as far as I would want to push it. On a built bottom end I would say that you shouldn't have any worries what so ever on 600+ hp if it is tuned correctly. Remember if you go with a standalone it will take alot of time to tune it correctly for the maximum hp each and every day while still being safe. I am not a believer that you can go get a standalone tuned in one day becuase there is so many differences in a daily driver enviroment. Keep it in mind, if you are going to tune it yourself it is the best tool for your needs.
