Road America is one of the finest race tracks in the world. If you are undecided about coming to this event, do it!

The organizers of this particular event don't provide any formal on-track instruction for driving the track, but there are always people around to help a newcomer with learning the line and braking points. I've been to about 10 driving schools at Road America and help instruct with the BMWCCA and ACNA clubs. I'd be happy to show someone around.

Well since Dynofalsh and TT aren't racing I'm heading up there on Sunday for some hot seat time, I will be around a black STi the one that spun out on the parade lap last year. LOL

 

Does that mean you won't be driving?

 

Nah not this time but I will for sure be drivng in the fall, I still need to do some tuning to get the knock out, that wouldn't be good for high loads on the track

 

where is everbody staying at??

 

We haven't made reservations yet, but we usually stay at the Super 8 in Sheboygan (920-458-8080), on rt 23, about 10 miles east of the track--I have to drive my cars at least 10 miles everytime I drive, plus, we might be traveling with our pooch and they're pooch friendly. Moreover, we have recently discovered downtown Sheboygan and wish to hang there any chance we get !

 

I have not book a room yet so I am looking for idea on a place that is reasonable.

 

I am staying at a small private motel in Plymouth called the Maple Leaf Motel. It is pretty reasonable - about $50 if I remember right. It's right next door to the Wilderness Inn where the dinner is being held on Saturday.
