Thumbs up MUST READ!!!Who wants 300whp?

OK, here's the deal. My self and Omar are trying to find a shop that will copy cat his turbo setup. We need to get at least 5 people who are serious to building up their Lancer. We have 3 people so far that are very interested in this including me. It might take some after we find a shop to do all their measurements a so forth. So if you're interested post here with any opinions or suggestions. Feel free to add your name on the list.

Interested:
1. my-lancer
2.erockoz
3.pickafro
4.smoku

sorry sal greg went for a ride the other day at streets i met up
with him... anyhow did you enjoy the ride greg hahaha

so we all know sal is hungry and others as well right
eric??? ralph??? definitely look into building up the motor
first, rods pistons, then clutch and lsd...then depending
on what shop can help out on piecing it together depends
on what other parts to get on your own...lets just see if we
can get a group of who is interested locally then go from there
hope we can generate a list...otherwise no luck

keep in mind in investing in for AEM EMS, rc eng 550cc inj,
aeromotive FPR, gauges etc those are the big parts in the kit
thatll add up also WG and BOV obvioulsy turbo and IC etc

Your car is awesome. Totally admire what you are doing Omar. It's really amazing how your setup is working. Take a dig camera and then take some mov. and then hook up :P
Seriously if I wouldn't have high compression pistons allready in my crib I would probably have gone the same way as Omar did.

Question?

How much money did it cost you to do all of this? Would it be cheaper to just buy an EVO?

I actually don't want 300 whp...that's a beast of a ride! That's too much HP to know wut to do with.

Can AMS make 200+ hp kits...like RRM with non-intercooled, intercooled, stage1, stage2...like that? For not only more practical uses but a cheaper price tag. Cuz eventually down the road I'd like to get more power but for now I would be willing to rather run on stock internals on a turbo setup . Also if i get SERIOUS ON THIS...i'll save up now...and next summer I should have a good amount for the kit. AMS did say it'll take 6 - 8 months till they get really serious on it.
AMS payment plans ?

I think they're would be enough interest if it were done that way...just my 2 cents .

I can't believe there is only a few people who want power. I would've thought there was more people in Chicago who would bite at this. Anyways, let's just see if there is anyone who will fab. this.

I think a video would help a lot to build up enough interest.
