Its getting final paint this weekend. I had to go with red because of the time restrictions. So far so good. I will have it just about done this coming monday, fully done by tues. If any of you would like to stop down and see it your all more than welcome!

Yeah, the EVO 3 seats don't fit in the EVO VIII (too wide), that is a $600 lesson I already learned.

How do you exactly take the roof skin off, a lot of cutting involved right? I was also thinking of getting a CF molded roof skin if thats possible becasue the extra weight it might save but im not sure because im scared the CF will shatter like glass in a roll. Any suggestions on that?

We drilled out the sopt welds, pulled out the front and rear glass and then it is not too bad.

I want to ditch my sun roof filled roof skin, and I was just wondering what Mitsubishi charges you for a new roof skin without the sun roof hole, if you don't mind me asking.

I also noticed in the shop manual that there is a different roof cross-brace for cars that didn't have a sun roof. Did you put this in also, or just leave the braces alone?

I think the new roof was about $300.00 and yes I put in the correct non-sunroof roof brace.
